The automotive industry is in the midst of a once in a generational revolution as it accelerates toward autonomous driving, connectivity and electrification
Join our team to design, develop and shape the future of our electrical and electronic systems; that’ll be your goal as you apply your technical expertise to help develop robust software in our vehicles
This includes everything from autonomous vehicles and advanced control systems to class-leading infotainment, cloud-connected features and integration of consumer electronic technologies, not to mention the opportunity to drive advanced prototype vehicles
You’ll be responsible for the development of our new software based features, using knowledge of software and system architecture and development in C/C++, Python, or Bash Scripting, to deliver robust software in our vehicles in an Agile fashion
You’ll solve critical technical issues and pan our software delivery schedules, acting as a coach, mentor, and subject matter expert around software development
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You’ll be technically capable of defining, developing and maintaining full software and interacting with operating systems such as Linux
You’ll understand the software development process and industry toolsets, bringing experience of creating and maintaining Software based projects
A degree or equivalent experience is desirable, as is exposure to technologies such as Networking, Telecommunications, BlockChain, Service Orientated Architecture, Cyber Security, Cloud Based Services, Algorithm Development or Mobile Application Development
