As our network security administrator, you will be evolving, operating and monitoring systems focused on high availability and security
Together with our technical lead, you will design and implement scaling, standby, recovery and failover strategies to ensure availability and resiliency for our server infrastructures
You will be the first point of contact for IT security and network infrastructure issues in our team

Staking Facilities is a young Munich-based start-up that operates infrastructure for various proof-of-stake blockchains and other decentralized networks
In this fast growing industry we see ourselves as a mixture of classical venture capital (native tokens of the individual projects are the basic prerequisite to operate proof-of-stake networks) and a traditional service provider
We maintain very close relationships with the teams of some market-leading blockchain projects
Your responsibilities:
- Work with great personal responsibility, design and implement your solutions
- Administrate our infrastructures with the necessary operational tools for network monitoring, logging and provisioning
- Develop recovery and fail-over strategies to ensure availability and resiliency of a mission critical on-premise system
- Combine bare-metal, co-located hardware with cloud solutions
Your profile:
- Completed professional training ( as an IT specialist for system integration) or successfully completed university studies in a technical field
- Very good english skills
- High flexibility and resilience
- Sound experience with IT security solutions and the operation of IT infrastructures
- Independent and solution-oriented way of working
- Good experience with cloud infrastructures
- In-depth understanding of network technologies and architectures, in particular TCP/IP, network planning, routing and troubleshooting
- Experience in Linux administration and task automation
Beneficial skills:
- Technical understanding of blockchain and proof-of-stake
- Programming skills in Go, Rust or Python
- Experience with firewall interfaces of the manufacturer Watchguard
- German language skills
