Your role
We’re expanding fast, so we’re looking for people who are, by which we mean natural initiative-takers who bring out the best in others, are brilliant listeners and can grow our business without compromising standards, integrity or culture
You will work with outstanding digital talent across disciplines to innovate and solve some of the most exciting problems for our clients
• Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
• Continually look to explore new frameworks and design patterns that help us deliver solutions that excite our client’s customers
• Collaboratively working as part of a multi-disciplined feature team to design and implement software solutions to client challenges
• Developing clean, well tested code through to production
• Work with business analysts to translate client requirements into working software
• Use the latest technologies and methodologies to deliver a broad range of high quality reactive software for this decade and the next

Location:
This role is based in our airy and bustling offices in Clerkenwell, London, with its legendary coffee machine and model train track, you’ll also have a chance to work with clients throughout Europe and beyond
Work pattern:
This is a permanent opportunity, to be worked on a full time basis

Essential
• Demonstrable knowledge of and related experience within software development environment
• Knowledge of Java/JVM based development practices
• Experience of build and test automation preferably including continuous delivery and a DevOps approach to build and continuous deployment
• Understanding of test driven development and JVM based test tooling
• Understanding of modern Java build tools such as Maven or Gradle
• Working knowledge of software landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies and tools such as Kanban, BDD, Elastic Cloud Based Environments, Rapid Prototyping Tools
• Experience of agile software development methodologies and/ or working within a Scrum or Agile development environment
