As a member of the recruiting team, you will recruit across many roles and teams and contribute to the design and evolution of world-class recruiting programs and phenomenal candidate experiences
  You are curious, collaborative, responsive, and willing to pitch in where needed to best serve the business and team

Role Description:

  • ​Build a healthy, diverse pipeline of active and passive software engineers with the goal of hiring multiple people every month
     
  • Focus on candidate quality over quantity
     
  • Work with hiring managers to develop their sourcing skills, write/calibrate job descriptions, align on interview process, and hire the right people!
  • Help interviewers develop their candidate experience skills and vetting techniques, both technical and behavioral
     
  • Drive university, conference/meet-up event recruiting
     
  • Tell the Anchorage story in a compelling, targeted, and concise way
     
  • Be an ambassador for the Anchorage brand at all times
     

Qualifications:

  • You’ve successfully hired an engineer that you’ve personally sourced and managed through the end-to-end interview process
     
  • You’ve refined your own system for sourcing, prelim phone interviews, and candidate/time management
  • You know the difference between an ISO and a RSU
     
  • You have experience recruiting/competing against “FAANG companies
    ” 
  • You have experience working with multiple hiring managers simultaneously
     
  • You’re passionate about technology, and pride yourself in your understanding of software and/or hardware engineering
     
  • You believe in the expression: “Good things come to those who hustle

Bonus Points:

  • You’ve worked at a quickly growing tech startup
  • You’ve successfully sourced engineers from outside of LinkedIn Recruiter (ex
    Github, Career Fairs, BART rides, etc
    )
  • You’re familiar with at least one modern ATS (ideally Greenhouse), and you’ve developed opinions around sourcing tools (like Gem and TalentWall)
     
  • You’ve kept up to date with the proliferation of blockchain and crypto innovations
  • You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system
