As a Game Analyst, you will deep dive into the realm of gaming data to uncover hidden insights and shape the future of our games
Your key objective is to analyse player behaviour, gameplay metrics, and market trends to enhance player experiences and drive business growth
Through your data-driven discoveries, you will influence game design decisions, optimise monetisation strategies, and uncover opportunities for innovation
Day-to-Day
- Dive into vast amounts of gaming data, extracting meaningful insights and patterns to understand player behaviour and preferences
- Collaborate with game designers and developers to optimise game features, mechanics, and content based on player data and feedback
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess game performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements
- Stay attuned to gaming industry trends, competitor analysis, and market dynamics, providing valuable insights to inform business strategies
- Compile and present clear and compelling reports, visualisations, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and insights to stakeholders
- Similar experience in a data analytics role, diving into complex data sets, identifying patterns, and actioning insights to drive decision-making
- Experience using data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, or other relevant tools to manipulate, analyse, and visualise data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex game design and business challenges using data-driven approaches
- Genuine enthusiasm for gaming, with a deep understanding of various gaming genres, mechanics, and player motivations
- Work with best-in-class design enthusiasts, pixel art aficionados, nostalgic gamers, world builders, anti-conformists, vaporwave fanatics, video game historians, lore masters, speed runners, easter egg hunters, modders, code wizards, database gurus, and hackers
