Binance Risk team is looking for an experienced Risk Operation Specialist to implement effective Risk strategies to Binance platform and users
 You'll be dealing with high revenue & VIP cases – to work through a number of pre-determined fraud alerts, email alerts, SMS alerts , and service requests to determine if recent account activity is of a fraudulent nature
You will complete your investigation using multiple resources including customer contacts, reviewing account activities, account ratings, phone matches, IP Search, and various websites, etc
You will investigate at-risk accounts to avoid or reduce platform losses
, and educate customers on how-to maintain security awareness and strive for loss prevention
You are responsible for reviewing documentation, analyzing data to verify the authenticity of transactions and/or activities
Throughout this process you may need to communicate with the customers for additional information and to notify them the decisions
Responsibilities
- Support reporting and monitoring of metrics and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) at the product line and divisional levels
- Based on assigned queues, review VIP accounts and determine the legitimacy of the accounts and account holders, (the associated risks) and make sure all appropriate restrictions and/or dismissal decisions are made on each account reviewed
- Continuously monitor VIP related cases and identify trends – Notify management of suspicious activities
- Monitor VIP account and abnormal activities to stop any suspicious transactions in the account
- Contact account holders in an effort to verify activity and mitigate loss
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Responsibilities listed above
- Abe to make discretionary decisions based on research
- Able to handle multiple queues covering a variety of tasks with a sense of urgency and follow-through
- Bonus: Knowledge or experience in SQL/Datawind
- Bonus: Knowledge or experience in Web3 industry
- Bonus: Fluency in Chinese
