Role Overview:

As a PR Lead, you will be at the forefront of shaping and communicating our clients’ narrative to the public, media, and key stakeholders
This role demands a dynamic individual who understands the complexities of blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), and the broader Web3 ecosystem
You will leverage your expertise in public relations to enhance brand reputation, increase visibility, and foster trust within communities

Requirements

1. Support PR activities, including proactive media outreach, media interviews, announcements, award nominations, as well as securing speaking engagements and podcast opportunities for both our client roster and our own internal company spokespeople
   
2. ​​Work closely with the marketing team to support announcements
   
3. Generate high-impact thought leadership opportunities
    
4. Create new PR campaigns and amplify existing campaigns
5. Support the implementation of PR activities
6. Establish and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists
7. Active media monitoring, analysing and reporting PR coverage and outcomes
8. Plan and execute virtual and in-person media events’ strategy, coordinating and managing the pre-event promotion, on-the-day management, and post-event follow-up activities
9. Connect business objectives and key messages for events

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant professional experience 
• Crypto/blockchain / FinTech industry knowledge and experience is essential 
• Proven media relations, solid copy-writing and editing skills
• Promotion of events a plus
• Excellent project and time management skills; ablity to prioritise and workto deadlines
• A strategic thinker with the motivation to own and execute initiatives
• Work independently whilst collaborating with marketing team members

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  
• Proven experience in a PR role, preferably within the technology or blockchain industry
  
• Strong understanding of the Web3 ecosystem and blockchain technology
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives
  
• Established network of media contacts and influencers in the tech and blockchain sectors
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  
• Proficiency in using PR tools and platforms for media monitoring and analysis
  
• Project management tools – Clickup
