About the Galaxy 2024 Lending Internship Program:
The Galaxy Summer Internship Program is an immersive and exciting, nine-week experience taking place on-site in our New York City headquarters
During the nine weeks, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on, practical work experience on our Lending team
In addition to learning on the job, Galaxy interns participate in professional development programming, fun social events, and networking opportunities with senior leaders
Program Dates: June 10th – August 9th, 2024
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with the day-to-day process of facilitating lending requests including but not limited to sourcing cash and cryptocurrencies, pricing borrow and lend rates, working with credit team to set collateralization levels based on counterparty strength, managing duration risk between borrows and lends, managing margin calls, maintaining lending portal
- Structure collar loan product by pricing puts and calls
- Structure credit facilities
- Underwrite structured finance deals
- Data analysis on historical lending and borrow rates
- Writing and sharing market color
- Interest and knowledge of Digital Assets and DeFi
What We’re Looking For:
- General knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem
- Critical thinking skills with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of SQL and basic Python skills
- Ability to multi-task quickly and efficiently
- Proactive and entrepreneurial spirit
- A keen sense of humor
Eligibility Requirements:
- Undergraduate or master’s students graduating between December 2024 and June 2025
- Eligible master’s students must have fewer than two years of relevant, full-time work experience
- Students enrolled in PhD, MBA, or JD programs are not eligible to apply
