 Role overview

Amber Group seeks an entrepreneurial and data-driven analyst who will be responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of sales data to develop and increase overall sales productivity within assigned verticals/market segments
The analyst must be adept at disseminating information for tracking key performance indicators, and identification of account opportunities and business drivers for improving the company’s overall strategic goals
The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial mindset and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where they can work comfortably both independently and within a group setting
 

Role and Responsibilities:

    • Compile, analyze and gather sales data to monitor and analyze accounts; identify market trends and competitor activity 
    • Own the design, maintenance and development of ongoing metrics and standard reporting measures to facilitate the drive of key business decisions and operational efficiency 
    • Extract and generate quantitative information to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving target outreach and account segmentation
    • Ability to hunt and identify new accounts and leads for the Sales team for revenue growth and generation
    • Support the Americas Institutional Prime team and the coordination of information flow into all aspects of business performance regularly
    • Contribute to the development of sales plans and objectives and completion of cyclical and quarterly due diligence reports 
    • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure an effective CRM system that adds value, consulting with external experts when deemed appropriate

Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree required in business, finance, marketing, computer science or other related fields
    • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience of relevant professional work experienced
    • Advanced Excel skills is a must – sorting of statistics and related entries; application of proper data validation, familiarity with macros and VBA, provision of numerical breakdown
    • Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and Python a strong plus
    • Proven experience in using Salesforce CRM – Salesforce administrator certification ideal
    • Strong knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software 
    • Excellent communication; high level of organization and attention to detail
    • Strong work ethics and a willingness to take initiative
