Responsibilities
- Support operational risk team to support how to properly manage the operational risk and all items related (Risk assessments, Control testing and environment, issues and incidents management)
- Support to implement and enforce robust risk governance ensuring stakeholders to have visibility of key risks and remediation activity
- Support to implement and maintain operational risk management in the first line of defense
- Support to conduct reviews of control performance
Facilitate internal control remediation - Support to conduct independent review as and when required
Coordinate Audit Reviews and conduct the related validation
Requirements
- University Degree Holder in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Technology or related field
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently across cultures and at all levels of the organisation
- Proven ability to analyse situations and solve operational problems
- Experience of working in a complex financial services organisation
- Demonstrable strong insurance business knowledge
- Able to plan, track and control operational activities
- Drive and motivation to ensure delivery in a challenging environment
- Track record of positive interactions with Senior Executives across the business
- Proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely in the language of the business
- Relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
- Crypto knowledge is a plus
