As a Compliance Associate at Eco, you will: 

• Become a subject-matter expert on various aspects of our day-to-day compliance operations, including transaction and KYC review, sanctions screening, vendor management, and more
  
• Have a say in how we build
  We’re going to be steadily growing our compliance capability and your opinion will be valuable as we scale
  
• Participate in the execution of our compliance program, inclusive of conducting alert and case investigations, vendor diligence, prepping money transmission applications, and everything in between
  
• Progress Eco’s cross-team initiatives, working with the Customer Operations, Payment Operations, and Go To Market teams on a regular basis
   

We’re looking for you if you: 

• Have a solid grasp of BSA/AML/OFAC regulations and consumer compliance principles
  
• Never miss a detail
  You’re the Sherlock Holmes of AML and fraud investigations
  
• Are super passionate about the current regulatory landscape
  Staying up to date on compliance requirements of the cryptocurrency industry brings you to your happy place
  
• Thrive in distilling meaning from data driven insights
  
• Are comfortable navigating uncharted waters
  We operate at the frontier of compliance regulations and there aren’t always clear guidelines to lean on
  
• Have at least 2 years of previous experience working in a financial crime compliance role
  
• Want to be part of building something novel and innovative and are excited by the prospects of joining a rapidly growing startup
  

Nice to Have: 

• Experience with blockchain analytics software 
• Cryptocurrency/web3 knowledge 
• Knowledge of money transmission regulations and the state licensing process
