Responsibilities

    • Represent the company as a professional compliance expert (eg AML/CTF and other regulations) with all parties, internal and external
    • Build test procedures and implement tests in all lines of businesses (LOBs) and legal entities
    • Conduct all responsibilities as Compliance Test Associate:
    • Review applicable laws, rules, regulations, and/or policies to assess controls
    • Determine scope and objective of each review process
    • Develop and document test scripts, sample methodologies and size
    • Perform test process according to the test plan
    • Manage documentation of the test processes by preparing correctly and clearly to understand workpapers
    • Ability to review, analyze, and document findings from sample testing
    • Ensure testing is completed timely and accurately according to applicable standards
    • Communicate clearly and effectively to stakeholders of test results on any issues/concerns/recommendations
    • Analyze exceptions and make recommendations to enhance internal controls and/or improve efficiencies
    • Determine root cause on identified exceptions
    • Maintain good relationship and collaborate with other lines of businesses and stakeholders
    • Manage various inboxes and provide timely responses to all stakeholdersIdentify gap/deficiencies and provide results to proper stakeholders
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to remediate findings and/or potential regulatory violations
    • Maintain outstanding findings are rectified timely and according to remediation time frame
    • Conduct ad hoc testing/project at the request from Compliance Testing Manager, Compliance Officers, Senior Management and/or other LOBs
    • Ability to work across multiple team dynamic
    • Attention to detail and accuracy is key
    • Develop strong relationships with various business partners both in and outside of Compliance
    • Communicate effectively to coordinate cross-functional projects
    • Requirements

    • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
    • Be located in the Middle East
    • 4+ years’ experience in a compliance role at a financial institution or equivalent with increasing levels of responsibility
    • 4 years minimum experience in Compliance testing/audit role, or equivalent
    • 1-2 years supervisory experience
    • CAMS certification and/or other compliance related credentials preferred
    • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
    • Ability to take ownership of work product and consistently deliver results
    • Adaptability to global business needs
    • Ability to work in a rapidly changing regulatory environment
    • Nice to have

    • CAMS or CRCM certification
