Data Stats Engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY

About the Role

Our client is looking for a Statistical Data Analyst to support their start-ups recent growth acceleration
The ideal candidate will support our client’s supply chain-focused advanced planning software platform
The position’s responsibilities include researching, collecting, analyzing,and presenting external data analysis linked to specific client use cases
This includes performing on-line research through public and private data bases and using their mathematical skills to understand data trends to build causal based data models

Requirements

• 2 + years of supply chain business experience (preferably working with time series data applications)
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, or similar
  
• 5+ years’ experience as a statistical analyst
  
• In-depth knowledge of statistical data modeling software
  
• Ability to spot data trends
  
• Knowledge of data mining and scrubbing
  
• Advanced mathematical skills
  
• Experience with data visualization tools including Power-BI
  
• Skilled in Excel, Python and SQL
• Above average communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Excellent report writing skills
