Data Stats Engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY

About the Role

Our client is looking for a Statistical Data Analyst to support their start-ups recent growth acceleration.

The ideal candidate will support our client’s supply chain-focused advanced planning software platform.

The position’s responsibilities include researching, collecting, analyzing,and presenting external data analysis linked to specific client use cases.

This includes performing on-line research through public and private data bases and using their mathematical skills to understand data trends to build causal based data models.

Requirements

  • 2 + years of supply chain business experience (preferably working with time series data applications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, or similar.

  • 5+ years’ experience as a statistical analyst.

  • In-depth knowledge of statistical data modeling software.

  • Ability to spot data trends.

  • Knowledge of data mining and scrubbing.

  • Advanced mathematical skills.

  • Experience with data visualization tools including Power-BI.

  • Skilled in Excel, Python and SQL
  • Above average communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent report writing skills
