We’ve onboarded some of the world’s most reputable brands and now we need an Engineering Manager (Direct Hire) for one of our clients
 

THE OPPORTUNITY

You’ll need to have experience with several of the following

  • Experience managing people
  • Modern web tech stacks consist of several of the following: TypeScript, React, GraphQL, NodeJS, Hasura, Redis, Postgres, and AWS
    While you may not be coding every day, you should have technical expertise in many of these technologies

  • Architecting systems and data pipelines that can handle the ingestion, digitalization, storage, and retrieval of document-heavy data sets, including document processing, search, and classification (ML experience is a plus)

  • DevOps and continuous integration/delivery best practices

  • Information security best practices

  • Collaborating on all aspects of product strategy and UX

  • Helping to shape the direction of the tech stack, product, and engineering organization

Responsibilities

  • Be directly responsible for leading the day-to-day execution of at least one engineering team

  • Build a trusting, inclusive, and high performance team that consistently executes on company goals and initiatives

  • Coach and mentor engineers as they grow in their careers
    Provide direct feedback on performance and ensure they are equipped for career progression within our leveling system

  • Play a lead role in quarterly and sprint-level strategy and planning for the team

  • Build trusting relationships product, design, other engineering teams, and key business stakeholders

  • Lead education and training initiatives within and across teams, implementing standards, processes, documentation, and more that enables the entire engineering, product, and design organization to thrive

  • Partner closely with recruiting teams and company leaders to improve our hiring processes, ensuring teams can hire the right talent as it scales

We’re looking for early engineering managers to join us
You’ll have the opportunity to manage one of our current teams, or help with hiring and building out our next teams depending on your skills and interests
You’ll also play a key role in shaping our engineering processes and culture

This is an opportunity to join as an early manager at a company with product-market fit that still has huge amounts of room to grow
