Anchorage Digital

United States

At Anchorage we are building the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions to participate in crypto

Founded in 2017, Anchorage Digital is a regulated crypto platform that provides institutions with integrated financial services and infrastructure solutions
With the first federally chartered crypto bank in the US, Anchorage offers institutions an unparalleled combination of secure custody, regulatory compliance, product breadth, and client service
We’re looking to diversify our team with people who are humble, creative, and eager to learn
We are a remote-first, global team, but provide the option of working in-office in San Francisco, New York City, Indianapolis, Sioux Falls, Porto, and Singapore
As Anchorage is expanding its business and client types, one of the new client types which are becoming more prevalent is the FFI/FCB business and hence hiring an experienced individual with strong relevant experience in these areas is crucial

As a Foreign Financial Institution and Correspondent Banking Compliance – Senior Analyst, you will:

    • Help to drive initiatives to build out and implement the program, including creating, enhancing, and implementing policies and procedures
    • Build and maintain an effective AML compliance program for FFIs/FCBs
    • Create efficiencies in the onboarding and ongoing monitoring of FFI/FCB clients
    • Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Compliance, Operations, and Sales
    • Deliver results in a compliant manner

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

    • BSA/AML compliance or KYC operations at a large financial institution, focusing on highly complex clients, particularly financial institutions and foreign correspondent banks
    • Expertise in documenting, analyzing, and monitoring of foreign correspondent banking clients
    • Experience implementing and/or building out a AML or KYC compliance framework as it pertains to FFIs/FCBs, including creating and implementing relevant policies and procedures, training, etc
    • Knowledge of relevant BSA/AML and sanctions regulations for banks and other highly regulated financial institutions
    • Experience interacting with senior management, regulators, or other internal stakeholders to present on updates for the program
    • The ability to drive projects to completion
    • A passion for crypto

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:

    • CAMS certification
    • Experience with international AML/KYC requirements
    • You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system
      🙂
