As Head of Platform Engineering you’ll take over the leadership of Platform engineering, responsible for building and maintenance of self-serving capabilities that are increasing delivery velocity and quality at which we provide value to our customers
We are searching for engineering leader who is passionate about constant evaluation and improvement of software and systems delivery life-cycle
What you’ll do
- Build a platform that accelerates our engineering efforts and inspires measurable results
- Help engineering teams leverage our platform to increase engineering happiness, productivity and autonomy
- Use a Product Manager’s mindset to work with engineers and agree on the platform’s vision, strategy and priorities
- Present and promote agreement around the vision and strategy to ensure short- and long-term roadmaps
- Ensure the performance and availability of our digital systems in adherence with our service level agreements
- Continue to grow and strengthen our platform development teams consisting of software, data, QA and infrastructure engineers
- Manage a geographically distributed teams
- Lead the rollout of a SRE transformation strategy across our platform engineering teams
- Serve as part of the engineering senior leadership team and bring your perspective and experience to that group
On day one you’ll bring
- Deep experience in DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, or Product Engineering, in hands-on and progressive leadership roles
- A history of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
- Engineering management experience
- Experience building and mentoring teams while seeking continuous improvement
- Experience developing realistic project plans, managing stakeholder expectations, and tracking team execution
