As a Head of Product Engineering, you’ll join and help lead a dynamic Engineering Department that defines new standards in the industry, creating new and unique crypto services for customers globally
What you’ll do• Manage and lead multiple cross-functional engineering divisions focused on product delivery• Ensuring the delivery of projects and products in accordance best-practice (agile) methodologies and ensuring rapid iterations are delivered to market
• Create world-class processes within engineering relating to product delivery and project lifecycle aligned with Engineering stakeholders (Infrastructure, Platform, Architecture)• Standardize the process where needed, allow local differences where advantages
• Work closely with engineering and product managers to provide consistent and efficient interface between Engineering and Product Management• Define and implement Key Engineering Metrics and report to engineering and organisational management, building automated solutions for this
• Support priorization activities between product features, security and system requirements (performance, availability, maintainability)• Hire and build distributed team with focus on remote culture and collaboration• Mentor engineering leads and help them build performant and efficient teams
Hold regular 1:1s with Engineering Managers and skip-level 1:1s Team Leads• Create a collaborative, innovative, and efficient working culture
On day one you’ll bring• Successful track record of developing quality software products and shipping production-ready software in a software lead role at scale
• Strong engineering foundation, high motivation, and growth mindset• Experience with development best practices (automatic code testing, code reviews, pair programming)• Knowledge of project delivery methodologies, having strong Agile leadership experience and an understanding of methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming (XP), and using delivery planning, visualisation, and dependency management• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences (or equivalent field) or equivalent professional experience
• Active knowledge of the English language

• Worked with and built successful products with remote development teams
• Good understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies• Experience with crypto and/or traditional exchanges, preferably Bitstamp
