Pantera Capital is looking for a Head of Talent with a passion for matching brilliant people to world-class teams
The right candidate will have both the vision to define our overall talent acquisition strategy and the operational skill to deliver world-class candidate experiences
The Head of Talent will partner with our management team to define talent needs and design, execute, and improve our recruiting processes, helping us attract, identify, and hire extraordinary people
Core Responsibilities:

1)聽聽聽聽Design, implement, and execute talent acquisition strategy to drive excellent hiring results across all firm functions (, Investment, Finance, Technology, Platform, Engineering, Management ) and levelso聽聽聽Own end-to-end recruitment life cycle, from identifying hiring needs to scoping open positions, sourcing and screening applicants, managing interview processes, and helping hiring managers select successful candidateso聽聽聽Leverage creative sourcing strategies across multiple channels (search firms, referrals, direct sourcing, etc
) to tap into specialized talent pools and deliver high-caliber prospectso聽聽聽Write inspiring job specs that convey the opportunity in a manner that is accurate and compelling聽o聽聽聽Design skills tests that screen for the skills, abilities, and expertise a position requires2)聽聽聽聽Set and maintain the highest standards of excellence across all recruitment activitieso聽聽聽Deliver world-class candidate experiences, engaging prospects with the utmost degree of professionalism and integrity, namely by ensuring that interviewers are adequately prepared and that candidates receive timely feedback throughout their recruitment process
o聽聽聽Act as Pantera鈥檚 ambassador on the talent marketplace, conveying our unique culture and value proposition to hook and hire the best candidateso聽聽聽Establish key performance metrics to test, iterate, and continuously improve our search strategies and hiring outcomes3)聽聽聽聽Be a thought partner to the management team, constantly aligning our hiring roadmap with the needs, objectives, and priorities of the firmo聽聽聽Build meaningful and productive relationships with senior management to deeply understand staffing needs; help hiring managers define requirements, scope new positions, and prioritize recruitment effortso聽聽聽Advise management on a wide range of talent-related matters, including organizational structure, succession management, strategic and emerging trends in the talent marketplace (benefits, remote work flexibility, etc
), market compensation levels, etc
4)聽聽聽聽Design creative ways to support the talent acquisition needs of projects in the portfolioo聽聽聽Create and maintain materials that outline the hiring strategies and systems we deploy, and make those materials available to our founders to support the talent acquisition efforts of our portfolio projects聽Required qualifications:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽4-7 years of experience in recruiting / talent / executive search at a search firm, startup, or venture capital / private equity firm聽聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽Track record of meeting high standards in a rigorous, fast-paced environment聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽Comfort leading new projects or initiatives with a minimal degree of supervision聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽Passion for teaching others how to recruit and hire great talent
聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽Experience establishing and tracking key performance metrics路聽聽聽聽聽聽Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across a diverse group of team members; ability to quickly build trust and make an immediately positive impression
路聽聽聽聽聽聽Demonstrated ability to craft an inspiring, compelling narrative about an organization that helps attract and close world-class talent路聽聽聽聽聽聽Strong network of relationships with US-based search firms and industry-specific bodies that can be leveraged for sourcing top talent路聽聽聽聽聽聽You operate with a high degree of integrity and professionalism路聽聽聽聽聽聽Knowledge of or enthusiasm for venture capital, crypto and blockchain technology路聽聽聽聽聽聽4-year degree from an accredited undergraduate institution (any field of study)聽Preferred qualifications:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽Experience working in talent acquisition through a hypergrowth period路聽聽聽聽聽聽Experience creating or facilitating workshops on talent acquisition路聽聽聽聽聽聽Experience partnering with senior clients to deliver excellent outcomes on challenging or ambiguous searches
