What You’ll Do:
- Complete daily assigned tasks in a timely manner – removed in an effort to limit bullet points, since this is probably a given
- Regular upkeep of campus grounds including, but not limited to, weed eating, mowing, planting, watering, and herbicide application
- Clean data center floors using floor sweep, brooms, and Zamboni
- Contain and clean any dielectric fluid leaks from fluid mechanical systems
- Perform scheduled filter changes on fans and cooling systems
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on company machinery and vehicles
- Perform minor building repair and installation tasks
- Painting
- Assist with machine unboxing
- Gather and dispose of trash and debris around fence line, data center and office trash bins
- Drive vehicles required to perform job duties on campus
- Operate heavy machinery such as skid steer and 10k all-terrain forklift
- Monitor supplies and request a restock when necessary
- Â Use company-supplied phone to receive and respond to internal messages and calls removed in an effort to limit bullet points, since this is probably a given
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor – removed in an effort to limit bullet points, since this is probably a given
·      The facility is 125,000 sq ft data center/warehouse which experiences the extreme West Texas weather depending on the season
The role requires climbing, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds in a repetitive and ongoing nature
There is a potential for loud noises, use of hand tools, and electrical components
Working hours are normally M-F with overtime on nights and weekends as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Knowledge of landscaping maintenance
- Knowledge of custodial maintenance
- Knowledge of various hand tools
- Willingness to jump in and help where the team needs it
- Forklift certification is a plus but not a requirementÂ
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
The base salary ranges included below are for Texas- based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience and expertise
Base salary ranges for candidates in other locations other than Texas may differ based on the cost of labor in that location
Base salary range: $25-34 per hour
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below
