The Member of Financial Crimes Compliance, Analytics is primarily responsible for leading the development, optimization, and monitoring of analytical models and tools, covering transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and customer risk rating
This role is responsible for owning modeling practices, data identification and strategy, performance assessment, documentation, and ongoing monitoring
The Member of Financial Crimes Compliance, Analytics acts as a strategic advisor and credible thought partner to senior level business partners, and recommends solutions that leverage both current and emerging technologies and applications

As a Member of Financial Crimes, Compliance Analytics, you will:

    • Lead a broad range of analytical work, including model/tool development and ad hoc analytics to address financial crime compliance needs
    • Research, compile and evaluate large sets of data to assess quality and perform analytics
    • Develop/test internal models and/or vendor solutions to ensure conceptually sound design, proper implementation, and model performance
    • Document model development process and outcomes properly and support model validation and review
    • Effectively collaborate with risk, engineering, and business partners
    • Provide strategic consultation and thought leadership to senior management

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

    • Extensive experience in BSA/AML, OFAC, or customer risk modeling/analytics
    • In-depth understanding of financial crime regulatory requirements and technology
    • Proficiency of SQL programming and databases
    • Hands-on work experience with statistical coding in Python
    • Experience with both traditional and Machine Learning (ML)/Artificial Intelligence (AI) modeling practice and solutions
    • Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills; ability to translate technical observations to a non-technical audience
