We are looking for a talented analyst with strong technical skills and the ability to distill down complex concepts to simple narratives
You will have comfort testing financial crimes models/tools while re-imagining how the tolls can be improved to account for Anchorage Digital's risk profile
You will be comfortable with operational models, process improvement, building automation, developing interim tools, and partnering with engineers
Lastly, you enjoy partnering cross-functionally to drive core initiatives including risk assessments and enhancement of controls through automation

As a Member of Risk Analytics, Model Development, you will…

    • Design and execute model testing and tuning plans to improve the efficiency of our systems
    • Collaborate with system and model owners to understand and address their program's needs
    • Maintain detailed documentation of the testing conducted on each model
    • Collaborate with engineering to build testing tools and dashboards for data quality monitoring
    • Coordinate multiple teams and systems to allows for necessary feedback loops between models
    • Assist in root cause analysis and remediation of model issues
    • Produce clear reports and presentations describing development projects and results, interpreting them for senior management

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

    • Strong knowledge of financial crimes models with a focus on transaction monitoring systems including their development, testing, and tuning
    • Experience conducting basic statistical analysis such as evaluating customer activity across customer types
    • Experience in writing, editing, or reviewing technical documents in the regulatory or banking space
    • Proficiency of SQL programming and databases
    • Knowledge in a statistical programming language such as R, Python, SAS, or MatLab

Although not a requirement, bonus points if you have:

    • Experience with digital asset analytics (, Chainalysis) and/or behavioral digital asset activity monitoring
    • Experience integrating machine learning into financial crimes models
    • Been emotionally moved by the musical Hamilton
