The NEAR Foundation is hiring for the Social Marketing function on the NEAR Horizon Product team
The NEAR Horizon Program is an initiative to drive awareness and adoption by attracting great founders and startup teams to build on NEAR and accelerating those teams to build successful products and services
 We’re an international team that understands the technology and works well with product, technical, and business stakeholders

This role will support the Content Strategy Lead with social media (Twitter, TW spaces, Near Social) and founder engagement
We are seeking a motivated candidate to join our team for a 3 month internship

The right fit for this position should be comfortable operating in a dynamic, entrepreneurial and fast paced environment with little structure and supervision
Social marketing experience and a deep familiarity with the NEAR ecosystem is ideal, as founder engagement will require understanding their interests and creating a social media presence that resonates with them

In this role, you will:

  • Work as a part time contractor for the NEAR Horizon Product team
  • Report to the Horizon Content Strategist
  • Coordinate with the Horizon Operations team on scheduling and prioritization
  • Coordinate with the NEAR Foundation Marketing team on strategies, voice, guidelines
  • Coordinate with the NEAR Foundation Legal team on copy
  • Support activities to recruit, engage, and onboard new founding teams into NEAR Horizon and it’s affiliated partnership programs
  • Lead efforts to build a NEAR Horizon following on Twitter and NEAR Social
  • Measure the success of social media posts, campaigns
  • Develop async resources to help founders with social media efforts
  • Create programs aimed at engaging and supporting founders ( TW Spaces)
  • Have exposure to strategic Partners of NEAR Ecosystem (mostly crypto/blockchain start-ups)
  • Keep up to date on Horizon teams, projects, stats, vendors, and backers who are using the Horizon platform
  • Identity thought leaders and analyze key trends in the NEAR ecosystem and blockchain / Web 3

  • Knowledge of blockchain technology, decentralized applications, and the ways which communities and ecosystems form around them
  • Prior professional experience via internships, NEAR grants focused on social media / community outreach
  • Demonstrated passion for blockchain, Web3, NFTs, and crypto
