About the team:

Within Parity’s Marketing Communications department the Product Marketing team is growing rapidly
  We bring the value of the developer experience, DOT token, protocol and governance, and the ever-expanding ecosystem of parachain teams and dApps to the market
This includes owning messaging and positioning, delivering high-value marketing launches, and ensuring our Ecosystem Development teams are fully enabled to drive Polkadot awareness, demand, and adoption of our products and technologies

About the position:

  • Define the strategic positioning for the Polkadot platform as a product, meaning the protocol, related features, operations, and services, by working closely with the Product and Engineering teams and accounting for customer needs, market dynamics, and industry shifts
  • Own and deliver the overarching messaging and content for the Polkadot platform in alignment with the strategic objectives of Polkadot
  • Deliver content to promote the platform through a multitude of channels and audiences, particularly to decision makers and developers who wish to build in Web3, as well as to end-users who want to explore the ecosystem via dapps, stake, or participate in governance
  • Support the Ecosystem Development department with relevant sales collateral, briefings, or events

About you:

  • You have experience and a successful track record of executing on messaging, enablement, and awareness for technology and ecosystems solutions
  • You are a blockchain and crypto enthusiast with a passion for storytelling
  • You understand the nuances of Web3 platforms, such as governance, consensus, security, staking
  • You are able to roll up your sleeves working with various marketing functions to develop long-form, source content such as presentations, video scripts, and social media content
  • You show a high degree of accountability and collaboration skills to develop and coordinate cross-functional marketing campaigns, projects, and programs
  • You are a problem solver using a combination of analytical insights as well as intuition
  • You are data driven in order to measure, analyse, and iterate and develop new content based on key metrics and goals to ensure optimal performance
  • You will be reporting to the Product Marketing Platform Lead
