As the EVM protocol specialist at Alchemy, you'll be responsible for digging into core Ethereum projects and providing insights and advice that can be leveraged by the broader team
This includes researching EIPs, understanding various scaling solutions, digging into mempool behavior, and much much more
You will be the authority for Ethereum related updates and a critical bridge strengthening the link between Alchemy and the Ethereum community

Responsibilities

    • Be an authority on Ethereum related matters – technical, economical, community-related, or otherwise
    • Preemptively research changes in the ecosystem including EIPs, hardforks, and node client upgrades for Ethereum and its most popular scaling solutions
    • Assist the engineering team in optimizing technical decisions around node management and EVM APIs by experimenting with and exploring the Ethereum codebase
    • Assist the marketing, customer success, and community relation teams in communicating difficult concepts on behalf on Alchemy

What We're Looking For

    • Proven history of interest and engagement with Ethereum
    • Deep passion for blockchain technologies
    • Stellar written and verbal communication skills
    • 5+ years of working in a technical/quantitive/analytical capacity
    • The ability to write basic scripts or snippits of code to interact with various facets of the technologies
    • Relationships with key figures in the Ethereum community
    • Experience in writing a variety of externally facing communications – blog posts, social media posts, press releases, joint partnerships announcements, etc
    • Experience at early stage startups is a large plus
