We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join on a full-time basis to support our fast-paced growth
You will be based in New York with some flexible working from home
This is a key role and will report to our Head of Tax

Responsibilities:

    • Manage the timely and accurate submission of all federal and state income tax filings and Forms 1099, 1042 and FATCA related documentation for the US portfolio and coordinate indirect tax filings, working closely with external tax compliance providers
    • Prepare IFRS income tax provisions and financial statement disclosures for US group entities
    • Implement tax processes and procedures that can scale with the business
    • Develop and maintain tax efficient structures for existing and new business activities, including venture capital investments
    • Support the implementation of transfer pricing policies and execution of related documentation
    • Closely monitor and assess tax and regulatory developments in the US and communicate the impact of these to management
    • Provide support on various other projects and restructurings as required

Your Profile:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax
    • CPA qualified with 8+ years of experience in the financial services sector, either in a public accounting firm and/or multinational financial services organization or fintech group
    • Track record of managing federal, state, 1099, 1042 and FATCA tax compliance
    • Understanding of IFRS tax reporting and experience with preparing and reviewing tax provisions
    • Strong technical knowledge with respect to US tax law and international tax principles including the status of ongoing BEPS initiatives
    • Knowledge of in-bound structuring considerations, including debt limitations, treaty qualification and repatriation of earnings and profits
    • Strong analytical and research capabilities with excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Comfortable working independently and interacting with various stakeholders on tax matters
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a hands-on approach
