Our rapidly growing team is seeking an experienced Surveillance Lead
  As the Lead, you will implement a  Surveillance Program, conduct real-time and post-trade market surveillance
  In addition, you will be responsible for reviewing alerts identifying/investigating anomalies and escalating potential violations
  The ideal candidate possesses exceptional analytical and communication skills needed for dealing with market participants regarding the activity under review
You should have experience managing a Surveillance Program, enjoy exploring datasets, problem solving, and be self-motivated
 You will be based in the general area of NYC (US working hours), with the ability to travel as required

Your profile:

    • 7+ years of prior trade/market surveillance or transaction monitoring experience at an Exchange, Financial Institution, FCM, or Broker Dealer
    • Strong working knowledge and experience with establishing a Trade Surveillance Program for alert management, escalation and investigation
       
    • Ability to develop strategies for the detection of disruptive trading practices and financial threats, such as fraud, manipulation and potential money laundering
    • Technical mindset to enhance the build-out and enhance a surveillance platform
       
    • Knowledge of the CFTC core principles, Broker Dealer requirements and/or trade practices of crypto exchanges
       
    • Experience in Compliance or Market Regulation preferred
       
    • Understanding of the Crypto ecosystem is a plus
