About the Parachains Team:

The Parachains Core team is responsible for implementing Polkadot’s Parachain consensus mechanism
This core team consists of 13 Rust engineers who are currently focused on topics like asynchronous backing, disputes, rolling out a new, “pay-as-you-go” parathread functionality to Polkadot, and hardening network security
The team is led by  , and Polkadot Co-founder

About the position:

We’re hiring an experienced Technical Project Manager to join this team
The Project Manager will be embedded in the development team and will support the core engineers in the process of delivering key features to Polkadot’s Parachain functionality

  • Identify and document all project milestones and deliverables and keep project plans up to date at all times
  • Design quality and automation procedures, and deliver project dashboard(s) for company- and ecosystem-wide visibility
  • Work closely with internal and external teams on integrations, mutual efforts and tasks, bridging the Parachains Core team with Polkadot ecosystem teams and internal BD and Marcomms departments
  • Help align teams on a shared vision and document the execution of that vision

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillset, including the ability to speak to the teams internally and externally
  • A demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and schema to balance competing priorities when needed
