Ripple is transforming the world of finance with innovative crypto solutions that increase access to financial services to people around the world.  As a UX Research Associate, you’ll be conducting user research and usability tests, synthesizing data, and ensuring our processes for recruitment and interviewing are effective and scalable.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful, and efficiency-minded individual to support our lean Product Design and Research team. You’ll get the chance to apply your knowledge of user research techniques in surfacing qualitative and quantitative user insights that will benefit the whole company.


  • Recruit users and build out a robust user database for multiple product verticals, leveraging our existing user recruitment vendors and tools 
  • Develop processes that ensure recruitment, research, and data synthesis efficiency
  • Become an expert on research tools and train others how they can be maximized
  • Plan out and visualize our user research roadmap, and ensure timing is coordinated appropriately with other market research efforts and surveys in the company
  • Schedule and coordinate user interviews and ensure they have a good participant experience
  • Set up unmoderated usability tests for various web and product experiences
  • Perform user screenings and interviews to understand user roles, responsibilities, motivations, and needs
  • Send out surveys to better understand our user’s experiences, expectations, and desires
  • Organize, aggregate, synthesize and prepare quantitative and qualitative data so it can be presented to audiences across the company
  • Perform user testing analyses and create video highlight reels 
  • Create and maintain a central repository of user data across products
  • Nurture relationships with internal subject matter experts to develop research hypotheses that can be tested
  • Research customer pain points to better frame external user research studies


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Psychology, Human Factors, or related
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in user research or related roles
  • Knowledge of user research methodologies
  • Detail-oriented and ability to work independently on a variety of tasks
  • Can prioritize time between multiple projects, and be flexible by adapting to changing schedules and different projects
  • A deep desire to apply research towards expanding what’s possible and improving the world
  • Technically savvy; can learn new tools and software quickly
  • Empathetic and curious; a great listener with an uncanny ability to disarm people and learn unknown facts about them
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator; values over-communication while collaborating with remote coworkers located in different time zones
