We are seeking a VP of Risk Management help drive our business through the next stage of growth
This is a critical, strategic role within the company, and will report directly to the President and Board
This person must have the ability to strategically build, guide, and strengthen the Risk and Compliance function
We’re also looking for someone who is able to challenge effectively, and demonstrates a holistic, global, and strategic way of thinking

The Role:Â
- Lead the organization’s risk management program by developing, implementing, and monitoring policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry best practices, and internal policies and procedures
 - Ongoing identification and mitigation of risks related to the organization’s technology, financial operations, and compliance obligations
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends, and ensure that the organization’s risk management program is in line
- Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and other third parties

Qualifications:Â
- Deep subject matter expertise in all areas of Risk: Prudential, Credit, Operational, Compliance, Financial Crime, and Regulatory
- Demonstrate a commercial and business-oriented mindset
- Possesses a risk approach that is proportionate and judgement-based
- Experience managing large Risk and Compliance teams of 30+
- Highly strategic thinker with exceptional analytical ability, superb judgment, and strong operational mindset
