About the Position:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our creative agency as the Vice President of Operations
In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our agency’s various departments and functions
You will collaborate closely with the executive team to drive strategic initiatives, streamline processes, and ensure seamless execution of projects to deliver exceptional client experiences
As the VP of Operations, you will have the opportunity to shape and elevate our agency’s operational capabilities, while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize productivity, efficiency, and quality across the agency
    • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to department heads and operational teams, ensuring alignment with agency goals and objectives
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in operations, promoting best practices and identifying opportunities for enhancement
  • Process Optimization:
    • Identify and evaluate operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions to enhance workflow and productivity
    • Streamline and standardize operational processes, tools, and systems to drive consistency and efficiency across the agency
    • Implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and drive data-informed decision-making
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee project management processes and methodologies, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
    • Collaborate with project management and creative teams to establish project scopes, timelines, and resource allocation to maximize client satisfaction and agency profitability
    • Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and implement contingency plans to address any deviations from the plan
  • Financial Management:
    • Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics related to operations
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize resource allocation, and drive profitability across operations
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements
  • Team Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration
    • Facilitate training and professional development initiatives to enhance team members’ skills and competencies
    • Foster cross-functional collaboration and effective communication among teams to drive synergy and optimize operational outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field
    MBA or advanced degree is a plus
  • Proven experience in an operational leadership role within a creative agency or similar industry
  • Strong understanding of agency operations, project management methodologies, and creative processes
  • Demonstrated success in optimizing operational efficiency and implementing process improvements
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Deep understanding of web3 technologies is a bonus

Minimum Experience: 

  • 10+ years of experience in an operations leadership role, preferably in an agency environment
