Responsibilities

Support the board with their accountability for compliance with MiFID and MAR in implementation of the annual control plan, quality checks, monitoring of regulatory KPI/KRIs.
Work closely with the Risk function, the MLRO and the Business to ensure appropriate design and implementation of controls.
Ensure that the MTF retains its internal control checks and control levels on an ongoing basis.
Monitoring of compliance alerts, drafting and follow-up of remediation plans and assurance reporting to the board.
Liaising with authorities and regulators.
Regular board reporting.
Assist the CCO with the draft of the annual compliance report for the Regulator.

Requirements

5-8 years of operational experience in a compliance or internal audit function in either a MiFID Investment firm or a Regulator.

Experience with handling disputes for traditional financial institutions and cryptocurrency organisations is highly preferred.
