Responsibilities

    • Identify, assign, produce and publish news stories on Saturday and Sunday during key business hours. 
    • Operate The Block’s social media channels to distribute weekend content
    • Coordinate with staff writers and editors on publishing content over the weekend, including paywalled features and exclusive stories
    • Work with The Block’s senior news staff on identifying the types of stories to cover over the weekend, including breaking market and business news developments
    • Coordinate with senior news staff on coverage, with extra resources assigned as needed to help cover busy weekend periods

Who You Are:

As an Associate Software Engineer on the Galaxy Digital Mining (GDM) team, you will be responsible for building out software applications to monitor and manage large, industrial Bitcoin mines. The team’s focus is onboarding new developers with an understanding and/or strong interest in the Bitcoin mining space with the goal of building out a robust set of applications that provide high visibility into GDM’s various mining arms. The base salary range for this role is $149,000 to $186,000 on a national basis and may be higher or lower depending on the location of the role. Base salary is just one part of our total rewards package which additionally includes equity, performance bonus or commissions for eligible roles, and competitive benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, relevant work experience, skillset, internal equity, and other factors, consistent with applicable law.
