Your team is responsible for:

As a Software Engineer on the Circle Platform Services team, you will build and own scalable microservices that are responsible for reliable and secure APIs that transfer value & assets across all blockchain protocols (think Bitcoin and Ethereum, for example) as well as traditional banking protocols (think credit cards, bank transfers etc).

You’ll work on:

• Challenging (and fun!) problems centered around digital currencies & their adoption. Did we mention that Circle launched a “programmable dollar” called USD Coin (or USDC)?

• Building publicly accessible APIs that make it simple for developers to integrate with complex payment systems.

NEAR Protocol releases require automation, oversight, and enhancements to deliver critical blockchain and smart contract infrastructure to partners and the open source community.  NEAR Protocol releases must maintain the highest level of stability, security, and performance. Today, NEAR Protocol engineers are responsible for delivering releases. We are transitioning to scheduled, feature-flagged release processes, and our engineering teams need additional resources to design, implement, and enforce software shipping practices that result in stable, secure, and performant releases for nightly, beta, and production versions of NEAR Protocol.  This role will enhance community and partner trust in NEAR Protocol to deliver features, bug fixes, and security mitigation on a predictable schedule.  NEAR Protocol has moved to a remote first collective and welcomes individuals from anywhere.
