Our team delivers and runs Erste Group’s web portals and content management system, serving more than 200 web portals and several web applications throughout the markets Erste Group is present. The team of requirements engineers, project managers, quality assurance professionals and software engineers closely collaborate with different business units, with one common goal in mind: Allow Erste Group and its local banks to offer a consistent and engaging user experience on their web portals and applications for their customers and anyone who is looking to become one.

  For the purpose of advancing our Blockchain based web application Dealfabrix, we seek a software engineer, who teams up with our experts that build engaging web applications and portals, from the conception through implementation and testing, to seeing the product live in action. You’ll implement scalable, high-performance microservices and chaincode with the help of modern technologies, support and coach team members and inspire them with your passion for technology.

What you bring to the team

• Fluency in at least one of JAVA, Kotlin, JavaScript/Node.js or Go, including experience with related technologies and frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Blockchain technologies and frameworks, particularly Hyperledger Fabric, are considered a significant bonus
• The drive to become a master in the technologies used (i.e. Hyperledger Fabric, JAVA, Kotlin, JavaScript/Node.js, TypeScript, Docker, Git, etc.)
• Strong interest in other and alternative technologies, frameworks and approaches
• A collaboration mindset with the drive to work in an agile team, collaborating closely with business, engineers and developers
• Understanding of the value of TDD and BDD as a way to deliver software of higher quality
• The ability to express your values and opinions, articulating them in fluent English

A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted – the minimum wage for this position in accordance with the respective collective agreement is EUR 41.706,– gross per year.

Mandate

• Support Product Owner in documenting functional requirements and realise technical diagrams (process mapping, system architecture, system context, workflow, etc.) using Business Process Model and Notation preferably
• Support Business in document Epic / User Stories using storyboarding, task analysis, and user research tasks to capture and develop user stories.
• Support the creation and refinement of a backlog to support the  agile team
• Clearly elicit the acceptance criteria of stories to support Agile (inc. development and test) teams
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts in ensuring user stories are developed correctly and meet acceptance criteria
• Ensure the quality of functional specifications developed and quality of System Integration Test before handover to User Acceptance Test (UAT)
• On occasion perform/support system testing
• On occasion creating, reviewing and executing test cases
• Reporting bugs and validating bug fixes
• Working with dedicated QA teams

Requirements 

• Degree in Business, Finance or Computer Science
• Experience in the design and delivery of web and mobile solutions
• Minimum 1-2 years working in a BA role
• Experience working in fast-paced agile/scrum environments
• Proficiency in Atlassian product suite – Jira, Confluence, etc or similar
• Blockchain experiences preferred
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in using diagramming tool (such as Visio) required
• IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) and IIBA Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) preferred but not mandatory

• Integrate some of the largest DApps into the Torus system: design, develop, implement and test technical solutions based on client and business requirements
• Architect solutions that include Torus and other infrastructure tools to provide the best possible UX
