Overview

As the Senior Cloud Systems Engineer with a focus on automation, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, engineer and implement standardized processes focusing on security and best practices ensuring Zero touch provisioning, SaaS hardening and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform )

  • Develop, implement, and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and tools for provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the functionality, performance, stability and security of existing cloud environments  (AWS), 
  • Continuously assess and improve the performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability of cloud resources by identifying areas for automation and optimization.
  • Work closely with IT, DevOps and Security team members to rollout group wide systems, policies, and procedures
  • Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all automation processes, configurations, and workflows.
  • Ensure that cloud infrastructure meets security and compliance standards, implementing best practices for data protection and access control.
  • Continuously review and improve existing systems for resilience

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Technical degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or a related field 
  • Significant engineering and operational background with a range of cloud solutions.
  • Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management, automation, and scripting, with a minimum of 8 years in a technical role
  • Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python)
  • Expertise in cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with hands-on experience in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform)

    • Liaise with regulators in his/her COO of BDC capacity on topics of risk, operations, and IT. 
    • Liaise with Internal IT, external and internal vendors for Binance Derivatives. 
    • Interact with Risk, Finance and market surveillance teams to ensure the smooth functioning of these functions on both entities. 
    • Regular board reporting. 
    • Draft the annual activity report for the Regulator together with the Chief Compliance Officer.
    • Draft IT and Operations plans for BDC and interact with Binance Derivatives and operational MTF to ensure smooth interaction.
    • Work with the internal security team to ensure cyber security. 
    • Ensure technology projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
    • Liaise with the global technology team to ensure the impact to MTF is fully analyzed. 
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures for using and managing technology resources and systems with Binance Derivatives (MTF) when needed.

Required experience

    • At least 10-15 years with a strong Quant or engineering Background of operational experience in a similar role EU or UK MiFID Investment firm, or a Regulator. 
    • Operational knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation including MiFID2/R.
    • Experience in IT and market operations such as market IT, interfacing IT security, BDC’s and operational characteristics such as clearing and delivery.

Manager of Services, FP&A

The Finance Team at Chainalysis splits their time between fine-tuning the details and evaluating the 30,000 foot view of our business. Our job is to help the company plan for growth by investing in the right resources and audit our expenditures and revenues to ensure we’re being fiscally responsible.

The Manager of Services FP&A will be a strategic business partner to our Sales & Services organization. and will lead the build out and support ongoing planning and reporting needs, as well as advise on strategic departmental decisions with actionable financial insights. You will own budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for the Services business and will be a critical partner in driving business results.

This role will work in close collaboration with the finance, sales, and operations organizations, and requires strong partnership and communication skills. The candidate must have an appetite for process improvements and efficiencies, strong analytical abilities, and exceptional attention to detail. This position is ideally suited for someone passionate about developing an intimate understanding of our business and GTM strategy and using your insights to drive continued improvement in our Sales & Services processes, as well as own ad hoc analysis for special projects across the organization.

Zone 1: $125,000 – $160,000 – $195,000

Zone 2: $108,000 – $140,000 – $172,000

Base salary is just one part of our total rewards package which additionally includes equity, performance bonus or commissions for eligible roles, and competitive benefits. This position is ineligible for visa sponsorship.
