We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as the Head of Business Operations & Strategy, reporting to the SVP of Corporate Strategy and Partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for working with leaders across multiple business units on some of their thorniest business challenges, leading cross-functional teams to find solutions.  You fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and zoom out to develop synthesized recommendations to support the continued growth and success of our high-growth Web3 media company. The Job

  • Performance Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to assess business performance and make informed decisions. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to track progress towards goals and recommend strategic adjustments as needed.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats in the industry. Leverage market insights to inform strategic planning and positioning in the competitive landscape.
  • Change Management: Lead change initiatives and organizational transformation efforts, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability within the company.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships to expand the company’s market presence and capabilities. Participate in due diligence, negotiation, and integration processes as necessary.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with various teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and human resources. Ensure effective communication and collaboration to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Reporting and Communication: Present business updates, strategic plans, and performance metrics to the executive team and board of directors. Deliver clear and concise communication to stakeholders at all levels within the organization.

Your Skills

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in business operations, strategy, or management consulting.
  • Prior experience working with a top-tier consulting firm is strongly preferred.
  • In-house experience within a high-growth tech company or a fast-paced, innovative environment is highly desirable.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $225,000 to $285,000. The actual annual salary paid for this position will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skills, prior experiences, training, company needs, and current market demands.  The annual salary range for this position is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future. This position may also be eligible for salary increases, bonuses, equity awards, and benefits.

VP, Senior Product Security Engineer

Who You Are:

Galaxy is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer with an expertise in securing micro services and cloud applications, and with a thorough understanding of product and software engineering processes. The engineer will participate in assessments of advanced trading systems and blockchain architectures, followed by the facilitation and/or implementation of remediations. What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor or post-graduate diploma in cybersecurity or technology
  • 5 years work experience in product security, application security, cloud security, or software development of security features
  • Threat modeling, risk assessment, controls review
  • Programming languages
  • Managing SAST, DAST, SCA, and helping software engineers with understanding vulnerabilities and selecting appropriate mitigation
  • In depth understanding of at least a few of the following topics: authentication and authorization technology, TLS and PKI, network security, cloud security, system security

Description

As an Ecosystem Manager at StarkWare, your primary role is to foster the growth of our diverse global ecosystem of developers, project companies, and users. The Opportunity

    • Perform in-depth investigative research on the most complex and highest risk cases, delving into companies and/or individuals who are clients, and connected parties by utilizing a range of internal data (e.g. transaction activity, KYC) and external data (e.g. blockchains, internet, media, legal, corporate and other publicly available records and databases). Investigations entail Kraken’s operations globally
    • Analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data sets to produce in-depth and high-quality written reports that provide assessments of money laundering and terrorist financing

    • Develop and maintain high quality data sources (in partnership with the Data and Engineering teams) that can serve various Compliance needs e.g. surveillance, internal and regulatory reporting
    • Collaborate with Data Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers to build key datasets and data pipelines using Python/ETL frameworks
    • Drive consistency, automation and accuracy in Compliance reports and dashboards
    • Develop Compliance reports/dashboards; communicate key results to Compliance and cross-functional stakeholders through self-serve tools and dashboards
    • Build Compliance metrics in response to emerging business needs
    • Work with Regional Compliance Officers to build regulatory reportsSupport ad-hoc data pull requests pertaining to audits, exams, risk assessments and day-to-day business needs
    • Manage work of junior Data Analysts; perform QC checks and drive consistency and accuracy across all the reports/dashboards

Skills you should HODL

    • 7+ years industry experience in data analysis and data management
    • 3+ experience in Compliance and regulatory reporting areas
    • Prior experience in managing junior team members
    • Advanced knowledge of SQL, scripting languages and database concepts
    • A consistent track record of performing data analysis using a scripting language
    • Experience with BI Software
    • Familiarity with data warehouse development and best practices
    • Ability to clearly present reports, dashboards and complex results to Executives
    • The versatility and willingness to learn new technologies

Nice to have

    • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science or related technical field
