What You'll Do:

    • Oversee the risk function and maintain and address any deficiencies in the company's risk management framework.
    • Foster, develop and enhance a strong risk management culture, across all categories of risk, throughout the company.
    • Manage and continually develop and enhance the company's Risk Management Framework and day to day risk management processes ensuring it is fit for purpose, meets regulatory expectations and adds real value to the company.
    • Maintain a strong relationship with the Central Bank of Ireland and ensure that the risk programme is operating in line with Central Bank of Ireland expectations and industry best practice.
    • Establish adequate risk management policies and procedures to identify, measure and provide for the proper monitoring, reporting and mitigation of all material risks relating to the company’s activities, processes and systems.
    • Consider specific industry, market and regulatory matters relevant to the firm and monitor and assess the impact of changes in the regulatory risk profile from a risk perspective. Ensure that the risk management policies and procedures of the company are in line with applicable law, regulations and licence obligations.
    • Perform regular risk assessments to enable a risk based approach to be taken in respect of the company’s risk programme.
    • Build and maintain a risk register.
    • Advise the board of directors of the company in relation to the overall risk appetite, tolerance and strategy of the company and assist the board of directors of the company with the execution of risk management strategies.
    • Report regularly to corporate and regional committees and the Board of Directors, with appropriate, timely and relevant information so that the committees and the Board can discharge their responsibilities effectively. Preparation of quarterly risk reports for the attention of the board of directors.
    • Perform analysis of risk data to identify insights, trends and emerging risks.

A Glimpse into Your Future at Orderly Network

  • What will you be working on?
    • Architect complex technical solutions involving smart contracts based needs from product team and users.
    • Analyze business logic in addition to designing and implementing smart contracts.
    • Up to date with the latest trends and developments in the DeFi space and familiar with the codebase of common DeFi applications.
    • Responsible for full-stack technical work such as operation, maintenance and upgrades of smart contracts.
    • Follow up the development of open source technology, based on which blockchain smart contracts are built and optimized.
    • Participate in the overall structure design of the decentralized application platform and the optimization and improvement of security, performance, and incentive algorithms.
    • Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of decentralized applications to ensure the stable operation of the production system 24/7 hours.
    • Participate in security audits of external smart contracts that interact with WOO Network.

  • What tech stacks/skills will you be using?

    • Experienced in smart contract development, especially in complex decentralized exchange and yield product smart contracts on EVM chains.
    • Familiar with the technical architecture of complex DeFi protocols and able to design tech solutions to solve complex problems.
    • Capable of reading and understanding advanced open source system code (Contributors who participated in open source code or open source frameworks are preferred).
    • Familiar with blockchain encryption algorithms, consensus mechanisms, security protocols, distributed computing, smart contracts as well as other underlying protocols and operating mechanisms.
    • You have good communication, expression skills, teamwork spirit and execution ability.
    • You have good self-directed learning skills.

The franchise spans games, video, NFTs, and other media formats.As a UI/UX Designer at Metatheory Inc., you will collaborate closely with our engineering and art teams to create outstanding user experiences for our blockchain-based games, interactive stories, and virtual experiences. Working hand-in-hand with engineers, you'll help transform your designs into functional interfaces, ensuring smooth implementation and optimal performance. Partnering with the art team, you will ensure a cohesive visual language that aligns with the overall aesthetic, creating immersive and visually stunning interfaces that enhance our story franchise IPs. This cross-functional collaboration is essential for delivering seamless, engaging, and innovative user experiences in our flagship project, DuskBreakers, and beyond.

Responsibilities

    • Design engaging, visually appealing, and intuitive interfaces for our digital platforms such as websites, games, and interactive experiences, ensuring they are optimized for a seamless experience on desktop, mobile, and other emerging technologies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and translate complex technical and business requirements into compelling user-centered design solutions.
    • Create and maintain a comprehensive design system and UI/UX guidelines in Figma to ensure consistency across all projects.
    • Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions and present these findings and design solutions effectively to stakeholders.
    • Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, technologies and best practices to ensure the highest quality of design work.
    • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth implementation of designs, addressing any technical constraints or challenges.
    • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other designers.
    • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Metatheory Inc.'s design processes and tools, advocating for the value of design within the organization.

Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, or related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills including wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
    • Proficient in industry-standard design software including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
    • Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and design systems (such as Material Design, Bootstrap, etc.).
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Experience with user research, testing, and analysis.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Passion for staying up-to-date with design trends and technologies.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced, fluid, and ever-changing startup environment with a globally distributed team. The salary range for this role is $85,000 – $120,000 plus equity.
