Responsibilities

  • Develop a data engineering platform to serve our business.

  • Collaborating with the Product Team to make our product the best it can be through data. 
  • Provide the platform the entire business uses for data reporting and analytics. 
  • Work with various data sources such Google Analytics, Relational Databases and NoSQL databases.  
  • Automate data processing and data consumption tasks such as CRM programs for marketing. 
  • Designing and executing on the technical architecture of our data platform. 
  • Ensuring our data systems are scalable, highly available, reliable and cost effective. 
  • Implementing Data Engineering best practices to ensure speed and quality of delivery. 
  • Writing efficient and reliable code.  
  • Review data retention policy and keep maintenance of the data accordingly. 
  • Leading development of technical documentation  
  • Staying up to date with the latest data technologies and architecture. Researching new technologies which will help to drive our business 

Requirements 

  • 3+ years of data engineering experience with 1+ years of data platform architecture experience.  
  • Experience with modern data technologies such as data lakes, data pipelines, ETL platforms, data warehouses and data analysis tools. 
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS and GCP. Ideally experienced with AWS RedShift and its associated infrastructure. 
  • A deep understanding of today’s data engineering technologies, system architecture and best practices. 
  • Strong expertise in data platform design and development 
  • Expertise in relational and NoSQL database systems. As well as 3rd party data sources such as Google Analytics. 
  • Someone who loves to learn, and is passionate about helping others.  
  • Excellent communications skills. 
  • Results-oriented, adaptable and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

VP of Reinsurance

As part of the senior management team, VP Reinsurance plays an important role in efficiently structuring and deploying capital as well as developing and executing risk management strategies. A successful candidate understands how to utilize reinsurance to achieve our corporate development goals and safeguarding underwriting.  

At the operational level, this position will be responsible for developing reinsurance management framework and maintain all SOP, policies and guidelines relating to reinsurance. She/He will work across functional departments and lead the execution of reinsurance strategies. 

What you will be doing: 

Strategy and Risk Management 

  • Work with senior management team to develop overall reinsurance strategy by creating and utilizing various vehicles and capital;  
  • Develop and implement the Reinsurance Management Framework, Reinsurance Guidelines and other related protocols such as security management 
  • Coordinate with Business Development, Underwriting, and Risk Management to structure reinsurance arrangement; create cross functional synergies to achieve business objectives 
  • Create functional strategies and specific objectives for the Reinsurance department 
  • Responsibility for all internal and external reinsurance reporting and returns; Annually review current reinsurance programs and program structures and evaluate alternatives, formulates options, and recommend changes (e.g. enhancements in the treaties) 

Operations of reinsurance 

  • Responsibility for placing all reinsurance for OneInfinity and OneDegree HK as required 
  • Prepare the required renewal information including statistics, risk profiles, top risks, underwriting philosophy and major losses, etc. 
  • Develop adequate controls and reports to monitor reinsurance performance 
  • Manage reinsurer/broker relationships; lead negotiations with outwards brokers/reinsurers 
  • Work with Underwriting department to optimize Reinsurance treaty structure 
  • Liaise with claims department to ensure full knowledge of the protection and utilising the RI programme. Review all initial recoveries to any cover; 
  • Review the placing slips, cover notes and wordings 

What we are looking for: 

  • Strong reinsurance technical knowledge; multiple years of experience in Underwriting and/or Reinsurance with an insurer, reinsurer or reinsurance broker is a plus; experience managing, structuring and purchasing reinsurance programmes preferred 
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skill; good at data analysis and interpretation 
  • Good negotiation and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skill 
  • The ability to manage large workloads and tight deadlines

What you will be doing:

  • Implement targeted marketing campaigns: Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns based on customer segmentation and insights. Utilize CRM tools to personalize communication and deliver relevant content through various channels (email, SMS, social media, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, and customer service teams to align CRM strategies with overall business objectives. Collaborate on customer acquisition, retention, and upselling initiatives.
  • Optimize customer journeys: Map and optimize customer journeys by identifying touchpoints and opportunities for personalized interactions. Implement automation and trigger-based campaigns to deliver timely and relevant messages to customers.
  • Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis: Design and execute A/B tests to optimize CRM campaigns and improve customer response rates. Analyze campaign performance and customer feedback to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance: Adhere to data privacy regulations and best practices, such as GDPR or CCPA. Implement and maintain data security measures to protect customer information.
  • Provide training and support: Train and support team members on CRM system usage, best practices, and data management. Ensure proper documentation and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated on CRM trends: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in CRM. Identify opportunities to leverage new tools or features that can enhance CRM effectiveness.

 What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. Additional certifications in CRM or marketing automation are a plus.
  • 3-5 years experience in CRM management, preferably in a similar industry or role.
  • In-depth knowledge of CRM principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., ActiveCampaign, Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics) and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics) and CRM reporting functionalities.
  • Understanding of customer behavior, segmentation, and targeting techniques.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and customer communication strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

What you will be doing:

  • Supervising a team of Customer Care Associates to provide professional advice and good customer service to customers, conduct service quality assessments to monitor service standards
  • Providing training/coaching to ensure members comply with internal & external regulatory requirements and enhance service and productivity
  • Ensuring complex cases are resolved effectively in line with company’s policies and procedures
  • Establishing and maintaining complaint handling system to track and maintain all information relating to complaint and make appropriate follow up in according to complaint handling policy

  • Assisting Sr. Manager to oversee the operation of the customer service function and formulate improvement plan in the management, planning, organizing of the development of the customer care team
  • Developing and maintaining resource forecasts to ensure adequate resources are provided for services to perform to the expectations of the customers and in alignment with the business objectives.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 3 years’ solid experience in customer service management including experience in leading an Omni-Channel customer service operation
  • Experience in General insurance industry and IIQE paper 1 & 2 licensed
  • Experience with the customer service-related technologies and solutions, including CRM, data analytics, management reporting and presentation tools
  • Experience in leading service improvement projects, business analysis and process management
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Customer centric, attentive to details and a self-starter
  • Ability to manage own work plan and schedule to successfully meet goals with tight deadlines and minimal supervision
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
