Responsibilities

    • Lead our business development and strategy efforts across multiple verticals: identifying priority target companies, building key relationships, and negotiating multi-faceted partnerships
    • Develop a deep understanding of OpenSea's platform and NFT ecosystem to effectively and creatively communicate the value proposition to potential partners
    • Drive user and revenue growth through deals with companies, IP holders, and sponsors
    • Grow relationships with existing partners to help them succeed and best leverage the OpenSea platform for their web3 activities
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful partnership execution including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Trust & Safety.

Desired Experience

    • 8+ years of partnership and business development experience in 1-2 deep verticals (e.g. Sports, Fashion, CPG, Hospitality)
    • Deep understanding of the intricacies, opportunities, challenges / limitations for key players in the space
    • Strong existing network and relationships with key decision-makers
    • Proven ability to think creatively, inspire brands, and close complex deals with high-profile partners in an autonomous fashion across verticals
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence (EQ), and ability to lead, persuade, and drive alignment among differing perspectives internally and externally

Responsibilities

    • Wear many hats across all things community and support, working closely with the Community Lead and other cross-functional teams to create an authentic, vibrant, and engaged community for Metatheory and seamless support experience. 
    • Create a healthy Discord community that grows with scale, exploring different ways to engage our diverse and inclusive community. 
    • Build, grow, and retain our volunteer team; this includes interviewing, shortlisting, training, creating moderator guidelines, etc.
    • Assist with moderation of our discord server and build consistent moderation and trust and safety guidelines. Build a bridge of communication between our employees, volunteer team, and community.
    • Be proactive in coming up with new ideas to take our community and support experience to the next level; help lead various strategic projects across community and support.  
    • Triage and resolve incoming tickets, responding and resolving in the most efficient manner possible, and tackling them in order of priority. Respond to support tickets and requests via Zendesk, Discord, Twitter, Instagram, and other platforms. 
    • Take full ownership of assigned cases; from guiding users through troubleshooting or escalation to our engineering team, to resolution.
    • Consistently create resources for users to resolve common questions and issues, creating internal documentation and guidelines, and writing external support articles.
    • Assist with escalating bugs as appropriate to our Product team and moderation issues.
    • Help with social media and event planning, implementing and execution.

Requirements

    • 2+ years of relevant community, support and/or trust and safety experience.
    • Expert in Discord community management and moderation. Familiarity with different tools such as Zendesk/Freshdesk and Twitter. 
    • Experience moderating and managing Discord Servers with tens of thousands of members. Bonus: experience growing a Discord Server from 0 to tens of thousands of members.  
    • Strong communication skills (both written and spoken). Ability to communicate effectively in fluent English, both written and verbally, with customers as well as internal stakeholders.
    • Exceptional customer service, collaboration, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
    • Player and user empathy; the ability to empathize with users and communicate effectively, specifically the ability to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to non-technical users.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, with minimal supervision.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment. A positive attitude, excellent collaboration, and ability to work and have fun under pressure. 
    • Experience working with remote teams and willingness to work across time zones. 
    • Passion for gaming and curiosity about web3. Prior web3 experience is not required.

The Role 💻

prePO is seeking a senior-level hybrid Frontend Engineer & UI/UX Designer to lead the design and implementation of frontends for our DeFi trading platform.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end process of design and frontend development, from research, planning, ideation and designing in Figma, to implementation, smart contract integration, testing and iteration, all in close collaboration with leadership and other engineers. You will also have the opportunity to build subgraphs, create Dune dashboards, interview candidates, improve upon our DevOps tooling, contribute to high-level frontend architecture decisions, and more!

Our core frontend tech stack is React, Next.js, TypeScript, MobX, mst-gql, ethers.js and TypeChain for writing application logic; Jest for testing; ESLint and Prettier for code style and safety, and Vercel for CI/CD.   • Identify opportunities for the broader Aptos engineering strategy for Web3 gaming.
  • Understanding, using, and helping to drive core frameworks and standards forward to better support gaming use cases

The base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $135,000 on a national basis and may be higher or lower depending on the location of the role. Base salary is just one part of our total rewards package which additionally includes equity, performance bonus or commissions for eligible roles, and competitive benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, relevant work experience, skillset, internal equity, and other factors, consistent with applicable law.

Our Employment and Labor Paralegal will report to Senior Counsel, Employment and Labor, and will play an integral role in building, supporting and implementing strategic and operational initiatives as a member of the best legal team in crypto. Beyond helping Kraken’s employment attorneys, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including litigation, commercial and corporate to improve the Krakenite experience and protect the company’s brand.

Responsibilities

    • Assist Senior employment counsel with preparing for internal and external investigations, depositions, hearings, and settlement conferences; completing legal and administrative tasks, including, working on individual cases, matters, or projects
    • Draft employment and consulting agreements and correspondence to potential external counsel, attorneys, administrative agencies, courts and third parties
    • Draft and file pleadings, such as initial drafts of discovery to propound and discovery responses
    • Conduct manual and electronic evidentiary and document reviews 
    • Perform legal research for US and non-US labor laws, rules, and case law
    • Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments and Labor and Employment practice objectives
    • Prepare meeting materials, i.e. PowerPoint Presentations and schedule conference calls and web-based meetings

Requirements

    • 5+ years experience as a global Labor and Employment paralegal, or within a cross-functional legal team with strong employment focus
    • Experience with employee investigations, agency charges (EEOC, Civil Rights)
    • Knowledge of key US employment laws such as EEO, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, with knowledge of US state laws, non-US laws desirable, and data privacy desirable 
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision
    • Good organization and attention to detail
    • Strong sense of urgency and ability to complete tasks on time
    • Capability for organizing and prioritizing multiple competing assignments to meet deadlines and corporate needs
    • Versatility, flexibility and enthusiasm to work within an organization with constantly changing priorities and deadlines
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
    • Strong IT skills (we are a remote first company)
    • Experience with non-US or global projects desirable
