What you’ll do:

You’ll work on a Golang stack and build workflow automation products for our core user base of home appraisal professionals.

HomeVision engineers work on entire products— everything from releasing a valuation model to building frontend data visualizations that help communicate results in a human, intuitive way to our users and customers

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in backend development, this is where the majority of our work is

  • Proven working experience in Unix/Linux environments and on distributed systems

  • Ability to learn and master new programming languages and technologies.

Bonus points:

  • Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Go, Python, Elasticsearch, and Docker.

  • Experience in scientific and numerical computing (e.g., numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, tensorflow, pytorch, jupyter) considered a plus.

What You’ll Need

  • 4 years of experience as a UI Engineer

  • Strong technical ability in React Native, React, Javascript & TypeScript

  • Deep understanding of mobile Performance, JS thread, and React code optimization

  • In-depth knowledge of user interface models, application design, and website functionality

We are looking for an engineer with a product focus who can apply machine learning (ML) techniques and tools to rapidly deliver features to our customers. We have a solid base of features that use ML techniques to pull information from images and text and are looking to aggressively expand our capabilities in these areas.

What you’ll do

You’ll be responsible for working with our product team to design and deliver features based on your knowledge of ML tools and techniques.

This is an ideal position for someone who wants to see their work be used by customers as quickly as possible and who does not want limits imposed on how fast they can grow or learn. Our processes are designed to get solutions from conception to production quickly and reward those with initiative. Because solution delivery is the primary goal, a strong curiosity and a hunger for continuous learning are more important than a formal degree in data science or machine learning.
