About the role

Alongside our B2B products, we are working on a several related consumer-focused products in the blockchain space, such as Block Explorers, Wallets, NFT Marketplaces and other NFT-related tools, and we are looking for an experienced Product Manager with knowledge of consumer apps, a passion for optimizing user experiences and delivering apps that users love. You will define and implement technical product strategy while remaining agile to market feedback and steering your team and resources accordingly.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision and identify priorities to ensure constant delivery of value while focusing on long-term goals
  • Execute the roadmap taking into account priorities, timeframes, blockers and feasibilities in coordination with internal engineering, design and QA teams
  • Interact actively and regularly with external stakeholders
  • Become the de-facto internal expert regarding the industry, and use industry data and market feedback to ensure our product’s roadmap remains competitive, technically, product-feature-wise and commercially
  • Design and implement processes around product operations

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of full-time experience in a relevant role
  • Familiarity with concepts relevant to consumer apps, such as UI/UX design, A/B testing, funnel and conversion analysis, etc.

The Role

As a mobile engineer at Portal, you’ll be touching all aspects of our mobile stack from our SDKs to front-end design to enable the best mobile crypto UX for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle of identifying, designing, and building new features
  • Contribute and lead mobile design discussions, stand-up meetings, and code reviews
  • Develop and own best practices for mobile development with a focus on high throughput, high reliability, and low latency

Qualifications

As the Senior Manager of Compliance Operations Programs, you will lead a team of program and project managers with our enterprise culture of Customer Focus focusing on Compliance. Business Operations & Strategy is a cross-functional team working across the whole company – including both strategy and operations. The team is a partner to the senior leadership at Coinbase focusing on high-impact strategic projects and data analyses.

In this role, you’ll serve as the lead for Biz Ops in APAC. You’ll act as a key thought partner for and advisor to our APAC leadership team, partnering closely with our Product/Eng Leadership & Country Directors across APAC as a whole. You’ll feel equally comfortable collaborating with Product teams on product opportunities for driving growth and with GTM teams on the substance of our teams’ plans to launch in new geos and grow in existing geos.

Successful candidates for this position will be highly logical thinkers, curious learners, and skillful collaborators – preferably with broad experience in Biz Ops/Strategy work and in growing international businesses in fintech, consumer tech, or crypto..

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Shape the international roadmap as a whole, and especially for APAC opportunities
  • Structure complex and ambiguous strategic problems for the Coinbase leadership team
  • Develop a deep understanding of our peer and competitor positioning as well as the emerging crypto landscape to inform your recommendations
  • Define clear hypotheses to identify new opportunities, and build business cases and quantitative models that will inform and influence our strategy
  • Partner with product leadership, using data and insight to define changes, design experiments, and implement those changes across our products
  • Contribute to improving our capabilities by enhancing existing processes and recruiting and developing new team members

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in a business-strategy role (Management consulting, Hedge Fund, Banking, Operations at a start-up, etc.)

Backend Engineer (Solana)

The Role

As an engineer focused on backend systems at Alchemy working specifically on our Solana tech stack, you’ll be working with one of the most sophisticated and high-throughput distributed systems in the blockchain world. Solana is our newest supported and fastest growing chain to date and requires a more refined focus on high data throughput applications. You’ll focus on architecting and building new systems as well as improving existing ones for a platform that supports millions of users globally. The team is still small and looking to grow rapidly, so you will have a lot of agency and ownership with our product roadmaps.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end to end product lifecycle of identifying, designing, and building new features
  • Contribute and lead backend design discussions, stand up meetings, and code reviews
  • Develop and own best practices for backend application development with a focus on high throughput, high reliability, and low latency
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing practices and uphold Alchemy’s high technical quality bar
  • Write stable, high coverage test cases for features you ship
  • Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
  • Collaborate with other engineers, PMs, and designers

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science
  • Experience designing, building, scaling and maintaining core backend software components (experience with API platforms a plus)
  • Ability to solve complex design, scaling, latency, or performance problems in high-throughput, low-latency systems
  • Experience with High throughput streaming services like kafka is a plus
  • Experience with data pipelining like google dataflow is a plus
  • Experience with AWS technologies is a plus
  • Experience with GCP technologies is a plus
  • Experience with production distributed systems, web applications, and microservice architecture
  • Experience developing with Java (Micronauts)

What You’ll Do 👀

  • Lead research projects identifying the latest market trends and developments in Web 3.0 and the broader crypto ecosystem
  • Develop recommendations, grounded on data and research, for strategic directions in the company such as new growth vectors or opportunities
  • Be a thought partner to all our teams, supporting them with strategic analysis to identify and capture additional value-enhancing opportunities. You will participate in BD and partnerships activities (eg. meetings, calls, events) around strategic plays.
