What you’ll do 👀 

As a product lead, this role reports to our Group Product Manager for Core Platform. This team is responsible for building and maintaining the platform that powers MoonPay’s payments and web3 infrastructure. 

This role is responsible for leading strategy and product development for our crypto and digital asset team. You will work closely with engineering to expand and optimize our platform that powers crypto and digital asset movement and management. You will work closely with business development, financial operations, and data to manage new asset/network support, our crypto APIs, treasury and liquidity management, and the application of fees and spreads to crypto transactions.  

You will:

  • Work closely with with Moonpay’s partners and prospective partners to define requirements for your platform
  • Manage discovery work to understand user problems and technical needs, validate hypotheses, design new solutions
  • Develop a plan for your squad that will move the needle for our millions of users in the next 3-12 months
  • Define and own OKRs with autonomy to enable the company to achieve its goals.
  • Ensure delivery is at hyper speed and help the team overcome blockers
  • Be customer & data obsessed and keep in constant dialogue and feedback loops with them

Role Overview

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities and build new partnerships for our services that result in significant revenue growth 
  • Expand upon current client relationships and identify new potential clients
  • Accelerate the widespread use of KYC verification services
  • Act autonomously to achieve sales objectives within a high-paced environment that values and rewards performance, while offering unique flexibility
  • Research the latest in the business industry and create new strategic opportunities to expand business
  • Develop partnership frameworks & creative engagement strategies to further enable growth of Assure DeFi
  • Develop and execute MOU’s and strategic partnership documents that detail the custom nature of business relationships
  • Collaborate with sales and design team to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals
  • attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
  • Maintain a strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive
  • Build and maintain an inventory of applicable conferences, trade shows, and speaking calendar(s) for our chosen conferences
