Developer Media Producer

As the first Developer Media Producer at NEAR, you will be responsible for the production of all developer related multimedia content start to finish. You will coach people through the creation process, direct shoots remotely (and eventually in-person), and master, edit, polish and deliver beautiful final products to an excited audience.

You will have a large amount of creative freedom in the development of projects, and will be expected to bring your expertise to the table to help make fun and exciting content. You will have a discretionary budget for production and distribution.

To be successful, you will need to create and communicate a pipeline for recording, collecting, editing, and publishing assets to the broader DevRel organization. You will be responsible for the timely delivery of video and audio; sometimes on tight deadlines. It is up to you to educate the subjects of video content on appropriate methods of capture, lighting, and quality. It’s also up to you to pick the right tools at the right time. You know what they are, you know how to use them, and you’re here to make great stuff that really pushes creative boundaries. 

Logistics

This is a full-time, remote position with NEAR Inc, based in San Francisco, CA. You may be required to travel for specific filming or media capture requirements. 

Key Requirements

  • Expertise in the software of your choosing (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects etc) and hardware (cameras, mics etc) necessary to create beautiful finished content
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience creating polished video and audio pieces
  • A willingness to educate people who have no experience in your field, and the confidence to direct them to push the quality bar higher for every piece you are responsible for.
  • Patient and confident communication about the time requirements, scope of project, budget to quality, and required effort for the completion of epic output.

Startup Security Engineer

Senior Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities:
