In this newly created role on our infrastructure team, you will take full ownership of the monitoring experience in engineering. You will have a significant impact as we grow the Chainlink eco-system and ensure the best experience for our customers by ensuring reliable uptime. 

Your Impact

• Lead the design and deployment of our monitoring infrastructure to detect and alert the team of needed action
• Oversee the availability, performance, and supportability of our monitoring infrastructure
• Create processes around alert response operations and support the team to ensure the reliable delivery of oracle data. 
• Make recommendations to ensure sufficient metrics are collected to create alerts with every new feature release

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a software developer / DevOps engineer or equivalent
• Experience with Prometheus required, Cortex, a plus. 
• Experience working with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (e.g. ELK stack, Splunk). 
• Experience supporting complex web applications/services and backend APIs on an AWS stack
• Demonstrated understanding of infrastructure as code, container networking, and security

This is the first dedicated position of its type charged with growing Chainlink, and it has tremendous growth potential into a senior management role as we rapidly expand our coverage of any/all blockchains. Enabling a deep integration with many different blockchains is a big part of Chainlink’s ability to act as the middleware standard that will drive the adoption of blockchains in general, both by enterprises and various startup teams. You will work directly with the senior management team to evaluate which chains to integrate, oversee integration, and represent Chainlink in each respective community, and ensure that Chainlink’s usefulness for each additional blockchain is maintained. We are a fully distributed team and have the tools and benefits to support you in your remote work environment.

Your Impact

• Work directly with the company’s founders to form and execute a larger blockchain integration strategy for Chainlink
• Grow and lead a team of blockchain integration engineers to initially integrate and maintain integrations with the top 50 blockchains and their various private variants
• Collaborate with our engineering teams to design and implement an integration framework, allowing for a smooth transition to different blockchain networks
• Determine roadmap and plan for launching Chainlink onto additional blockchains
• Efficiently work with our developers to prioritize developments tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or 3+ years of highly technical experience

The Application Layer team at NEAR Protocol is looking for a senior software engineer with experience building and maintaining developer-facing libraries, SDKs, and APIs. In this role, you will maintain and expand TypeScript/JavaScript libraries that enable developers to build applications on the NEAR blockchain, contribute to the and participate in research at the forefront of digital asset user and developer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience building production applications, libraries, and APIs
• Demonstrated experience writing well-structured, clean, maintainable code
• Ability to learn new languages, APIs and SDKs quickly
• Experience and interest in building and documenting developer-facing tools
• Strong communication and remote friendly working skills

Nice-to-haves

• Open source contributions and previous or continued involvement in open source communities
