Reporting to the Director of Client Solutions, you will design and help customers implement complex and business-critical solutions. Brave is looking for an engineer who can help us stay one step ahead of fraud in our Brave Ads ecosystem.  This position is vital to help us make sure that rewards go to Brave users, not to bad actors.  We are looking to refine, automate, and expand the BAT ecosystem’s anti-fraud processes, and build more of the necessary tooling over time.  We are looking for somebody who always prefers a simple solution over a complex one and who can take whole solutions from end to end.

Requirements

Brave is looking for a sales engineer with ad tech experience who can help demonstrate return on ad spend for our Brave Ads customers.  Because Brave blocks out most 3rd party trackers and analytics, we have to find new ways to prove to marketers that we are driving success, while continuing to defend users’ privacy.  We need a solution oriented engineer who is comfortable interacting with customers and digging in to drive success.  We also need somebody with a deep understanding of what happens on an publisher/advertiser page with scripts and network traffic, and who knows their way around Chromium devtools.  The Brave Ads Sales Engineer will then help us gather what works to turn into repeatable processes and solutions.

Your team is responsible for:

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you’ll work on providing a seamless onboarding flow to help new business get their payments off the ground.  When a new business launches with Circle APIs, they use Circle’s dashboards (with your help!) to help manage and optimize their payments. Developers love using Circle APIs but our business partners rely on our client tools for their day-to-day insights and health of their billing stack.  You’ll be part of a small frontend team where you will play a key role in helping us create delightful customer experiences in a sound and scalable way.

What you’ll be responsible for:

As the Global Tax Director you will be responsible for leading Circle’s international tax strategy, tax compliance and tax provision activities as an integral part of the global finance team. You will provide hands-on leadership for all tax activities, including oversight of all Circle tax compliance across the Circle international footprint, managing financial and tax related risks for new products and customer agreements, managing the international transfer pricing framework and calculation of tax provisions for financial reporting purposes.

• Responsible for corporate tax filings and the preparation of tax provision process for all Circle entities in every jurisdiction where Circle operates (currently more than ten entities).
• Collaborating with executive management to develop a vision for a tax efficient global corporate structure that is flexible and meets our business needs.
• Act as advisor for the company on new product launches and customer agreements to ensure tax risks are mitigated.
• Be a partner to cross-functional teams to advise on any necessary tax reporting requirements for our global customer base
• Project manage and execute the calendar of filing deliverables to ensure compliance with tax deliverables for US federal, state and all foreign income taxes (including annual tax returns, Forms 8858, 5471, VAT, International Corporate taxes, etc.)
• Manage any tax audits that may arise for state, federal and international returns.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and investors.
• Present on tax matters at Audit and Risk Committee and board meetings as required.
• Research and analyze technical tax issues and their impact on tax provisions and disclosures.
• Prepare all tax provision disclosures for financial reporting purposes and ensure compliance with relevant US GAAP and international financial reporting requirements.

As a Blockchain Engineer at Eco, you will: 

• Contribute to the development and specification of the Eco token model, by implementing, testing, and auditing Solidity smart contracts on Ethereum.
