As the Operations Manager for Compliance at Coinbase, you’ll lead the charge in combating money laundering and ensuring that we meet our mission to make cryptocurrency accessible to everyone. What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • You will execute the strategic vision for Compliance by scaling operational performance, which includes the execution of operational OKRs, KPIs and initiatives.
  • In partnership with Compliance, Legal, Program Management, and other operational support partners (i.e. Workforce Management, Vendor Management, Analytics, Quality Assurance, etc.) you will create and scale operational mechanisms to manage productivity, improve quality, and contribute to best-in-class compliance operations.
  • You are responsible for the development of standard work and will utilize your Compliance background and team of Compliance professionals to collect feedback and drive upstream improvements to user guides, procedures, and policy.
  • Utilize an in-depth understanding of metrics, reporting, capacity planning and financials to make informed data-driven decisions.
  • Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly vendor business reviews to instill customer focus and operational excellence culture across all tiers of support.
  • Thoughtfully delegate tactical responsibilities and set performance expectations across the organization.
  • Hire, lead and develop a diverse, high performing team, setting up the organization for success through investments in career growth.

What we look for in you (i.e. job requirements):

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven KYC/AML experience in financial services or technology organizations leading large teams (100-500+) across multiple countries and regions.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with global outsourcing providers and senior leadership.

  • Hands-on involvement in developing and producing metrics and reporting.

We’re looking for an experienced designer to join our Design Systems team at Coinbase. The Design Systems team is tightly integrated with our engineering team. The Talent Management team at Coinbase is responsible for all portions of the annual performance cycle, including peer, manager, and 360 feedback, as well as succession planning and talent review across teams, and the tooling and enablement to support all of these programs. As a Transaction Support Analyst, you’ll join a high functioning team of passionate support professionals whose performance is critical to Coinbase achieving its mission. You will serve as a subject matter expert for Coinbase’s institutional suite of products (Prime, Custody), providing world-class service and support to our most valued clients and coverage team. Diligent, empathetic, and have a bias towards action, you will play a crucial role in the success of the Client Services organization as we help build the crypto-economy. 

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties): To be completed by all business teams except Eng.

  • Serve as a domain expert across multiple channels, supporting our highest value customers and institutions on Coinbase’s institutional products (including Prime and Custody)
  • Responsible for executing transaction processing for Coinbase’s institutional clients
  • Provide white glove support to our highest priority global clients through phone, email and video calls in an articulate and empathetic manner
  • Make informed, data-driven decisions through a thorough understanding of metrics and the business
  • Set a high bar for support analysts within the organization by setting an example through performance and work ethic
  • Operationalize new and existing policies, processes, and procedures related to the Client Services scope
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to internal teams including Advocacy and Product when surfacing bugs, incidents, and product feedback
  • Participate in a 24×7 team, requiring weekend and shift rotations that may include overnight coverage. Occasional shift work will be required
