The Project Manager oversees one or more creative projects end-to-end for multiple clients simultaneously. These projects range across multidisciplinary design, development, and strategy. As a Project Manager, you will work with various team members to scope project deliverables, establish project schedules, delegate tasks, monitor budgets, hit deadlines, ensure quality standards, and handle all communications between the internal team, subcontractors, and clients. Working under the Sr. Operations Manager, they must demonstrate excellent organization skills with attention to detail across all responsibilities. They will work closely with Sales, Strategists, Designers, Developers, Art Directors, Creative Directors, Operations Managers, and other Project Managers.

This position consists of inter-departmental communication that requires thorough investigation analysis and is very detail oriented.   • Review new business/MTO customer sign ups as part of KYC process and participate in creation of automatic screening tools for the same alongside Chief Product Officer and/or Chief Technical Officer
  • Identify and investigate suspicious customer activity within Spain, larger Europe, and African regions of operations and prepare reports on the same.
  • To conduct an annual risk assessment relating to financial crime and incorporate conclusions into current policies and requirements. This includes leading an annual update to the Prevention of Money laundering and Terrorist Financing Manual (AML Manual) gaining sign-off from MLRO and Executive.
  • To agree with managements remediation plans for all incidence of non-compliance with policy/procedure and follow up implementation on a timely basis, escalating to Head of Department and relevant Executive Director as necessary.
  • To make practical and acceptable recommendations where systems and procedures are in need of enhancing to counter the risk of financial crime.
  • To prepare regular reports on the outputs of the Compliance program to the Executive team summarizing key issues, results, conclusions and actions taken.
  • Participate in the analysis and implementation of local regulations applicable to the TransferZero Spanish business, with specific focus on Bank of Spain/CNMV Circulars.
  • Participate in the preparation and review of the local regulatory reporting to Bank of Spain and CNMV, ensuring flawless delivery of regulatory obligations.
  • Interact with upstream CFO and non-CFO teams, such as Group Ops, IT and CRO to ensure CFO data requirements are understood and met in a timely and adequate manner.

  • Key point of contact in Spain for Compliance AML CFT and financial reporting matters, being able to provide independent advice and high quality input to any queries raised by local management or the Group.
  • Support the implementation of new and enhanced controls (including input data quality controls for AML, financial reporting and other monitoring processes) and risk mitigating actions to ensure adequate control of the business. Act promptly on warning signals to minimize financial and operational risk and ensure timely compliance with internal controls and standards.
  • Ensure adequate, timely, complete and transparent communication and escalation to line management.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the private banking business performed in Spain and the operating model of each business will need to be developed to successfully fulfill these responsibilities.

  • Has a detailed knowledge of BoS reports and what needs to be reported and ensures timely reporting and coordination with internal departments

Senior UI/UX Designer (Remote)

The franchise spans games, video, NFTs, and other media formats.We’re looking for a senior UI/UX Designer to help us define, shape and create incredible player experiences for both current games in development and future experiences. You’ll be an advocate for our players and community, solving problems, driving innovation, setting a high bar for user empathy, usability and quality and ultimately defining a fun and intuitive player experience. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design process including research, design, prototyping, iterating and testing. You’ll collaborate with a talented team of Producers, Engineers, Artists, Designers, Writers and Product Managers across our games. You’ll report to the Chief Design Officer. 

Responsibilities

    • Design high quality and consistent UI assets and user experiences across our games from zero to one
    • Collaborate with game designers, producers, artists, engineers, product managers, and QA to implement a high quality and intuitive interface
    • Help to scale and maintain our Design System working closely with other designers 
    • Be an advocate for fun, accessible, future-proof UI design and put our players and community first 
    • Explore how to level up our experiences and innovate; drawing inspiration from broad sources and the design community 
    • Provide honest and constructive feedback to other designers and teammates to help us foster a culture of openness, trust, and creativity  
    • Collaborate with product to conduct user research and analysis; incorporate qualitative feedback and quantitative insights to improve the player experience  
    • Become our game UI/UX design subject matter expert and help us raise the bar for best practices in UI/UX by staying on top of industry trends 

Requirements

    • 5-7+ years of experience working as a UI/UX designer in the game development industry
    • At least two shipped games and experience working across multiple platforms – PC, consoles, mobile 
    • Strong portfolio that showcases both visual and problem solving skills
    • Familiarity with any game engine (Unity, Unreal Engine)
    • Proficient in multiple design tools (Adobe Suite, Figma)
    • Strong user empathy and a user-first approach
    • Able to work well with a team in a dynamic, cross-discipline, and iterative setting
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to communicate ideas clearly and effectively 
    • Self-directed ability to manage multiple projects, embrace ambiguity, estimate and meet deadlines and adjust priorities 
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment. Experience working with remote teams and willingness to work across time zones 
    • A positive attitude, excellent collaboration, and ability to work and have fun under pressure.

    • Be an advocate in the developer ecosystem (spanning web2 and web3), championing Arbitrum and building relationships with developers and related organizations (accelerators, dev shops, hackathon organizers, etc.) to grow Arbitrum’s awareness among developers
    • Design systematic and scalable global programs that foster developer
    • Community growth and interaction, helping new and experienced developers deploy smart contracts, migrate projects and optimize existing applications
    • Actively participate in developer events aimed at education and onboarding, including live coding sessions, speaking at conferences, virtual meetups, and hackathons, working with our Events team to prioritize and attend key events
    • Work alongside our engineers to assist with the creation of tutorials, demos, and other reference materials
    • Work directly with the Product team to drive growth in the Arbitrum ecosystem, from converting patterns observed in the ecosystem into prioritized development work to helping to shape the go-to-market strategy of new Products, especially for the developer audience

Who You Are:

    • You have a passion for and solid understanding of blockchain technologies
    • Competent CS fundamentals, either in a formal university program or through self-learning
    • 2+ years of experience working on a developer relations team or in a similar role, growing awareness of and engagement with developer products, experience doing so in the blockchain industry is nice to have
    • Experience delivering talks on technical concepts is required, either through work experience or through other activities
    • Experience writing Go and/or Solidity code is nice to have
    • Experience writing and deploying smart contracts in EVM environments is nice to have
    • Ability to dissect and explain complex topics in a simple manner
    • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work with both internal and external parties
    • Experience at a high-growth technology company or startup is nice to have but not required
