What you will be doing: 

  • Evaluate campaign performance and data analytics 
  • Conduct competitor research and offer analysis to identify the target audience 
  • Ensure marketing plans are executed according to the project timeline 
  • Monitor competitor activity and generating leads for products and services. 
  • Evaluates program performance and investigates opportunities in order to recommend promotions and strategies that drive dining program spend and member engagement 
  • Manage the development of appropriate, timely and measurable Affiliate/Aggregator initiatives for key strategic objectives of the business unit including programs to acquire new customers.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications, advertising or other related field is required 
  • 1-2 years of experience in a digital marketing specialist role, entry-level marketing, B2B, life insurance, or similar role in the insurance industry is a plus 
  • Proven proficiency leveraging CRM, analytics platforms, and marketing automation tools 
  • Computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel 
  • Exemplary organization, project management, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills are required

Technical Presales Lead, IXT

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Technical Presales Lead for IXT, the B2B insurance technology arm of OneDegree. If you are passionate about making an impact, as well as in enabling breakthroughs in a very traditional industry through high-growth tech solutions, come join us!

As the Technical Presales Lead, you will provide technical support during the sales cycle, focusing on IXT’s product offerings. This role involves close collaboration with Sales & Partnership and Product Marketing functions to effectively promote our products. You will be a subject matter expert, adept at demonstrating the technical capabilities of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical solution consulting support during the sales cycle.
  • Work directly with Sales & Partnership to present the technical capabilities of IXT products to prospects.
  • Address technical architecture, integration approaches, security, platform strategy, low-code configuration, and project scoping.
  • Conduct presentations, technical demonstrations, and Proof of Concept (POC) projects.
  • Support RFP and proposal process with technical responses.
  • Work closely with the IXT Product teams to understand our offerings and product strategy and roadmap.
  • Communicate requirements and trends encountered among prospects.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on IXT offerings, including functional and technical aspects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a similar program.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a technology consultant, sales engineer, software engineer, or in systems implementations.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservice architecture.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
  • Experience in working directly with customers, onboarding partners, and integrating with API interfaces of solutions.
  • Strong and polished presentation skills with experience in complex sales situations.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English (ability to converse in Mandarin will be a plus)

  • Manage the day-to-day policy administrative activities
  • Handle and follow up inquiries from internal and external customer and outsourcing teams regarding policy issuance, subscription payment status, and change of particulars
  • Verify data from various daily and monthly reports to ensure data accuracy
  • Ensure all tasks are done within the turnaround time and following the policy administration procedures
  • Take minutes for the monthly department meeting
  • Build and scale a new team that owns the customer experience and works to exceed their expectations

As a QA Engineer at OneDegree, you will be involved in the software testing phase, ensuring our products meet high-quality standards. You will collaborate closely with the development team to conduct functional and performance testing while assisting in improving product quality.

  • Work directly with local and remote teams. 
  • Assist in formulating test plans and testing strategies to ensure comprehensive testing of various aspects of the product. 
  • Design test cases based on requirements analysis and specifications. 
  • Perform manual testing to ensure the proper functioning of software features. 
  • Record and report defects, tracking the progress of defect resolution. 
  • Collaborate closely with developers and other relevant teams to address issues during the testing process.
