As a Bank Compliance Manager, you will:

    • Lead the execution of account administrative reviews in accordance with 12 CFR 9
    • Collaborate with Legal and other stakeholders to ensure compliance of the Reg W and affiliate transactions program
    • Deliver bank training program and build additional training as necessary
    • Evaluate new business opportunities for potential compliance risks and controls
    • Drive resolution of compliance-related internal audit findings
    • Assist in leading bank regulatory examinations including meeting preparation and execution, first day letter response, and MRA remediation

Requirements

    • 8+ years in risk management experience (includes compliance, financial crimes, audit, legal, or operational risk experience).
    • Prior experience with carrying out and operating in a global compliance environment.

About The Role:

As a member of the storage team, you’ll have the opportunity to design and implement our core blockchain data structure which enables smart contracts to execute efficiently on an account based storage model, optimize the throughput and latency of the blockchain by making superior data architecture and data flow, and build a foundation for a blockchain scaled out to multiple data shards.

What you’ll be doing

  • Design efficient data structures to represent the blockchain.
  • Implement such data structures using Rust on top of key-value or relational databases, with support for multiversion concurrency control (MVCC).
  • Optimize our data model exposed to the Move language to provide flexibility and ergonomics to smart contract developers to match their access pattern of data with proper storage granularity.
  • Design and implement mechanisms that incentivizes smart contract developers and blockchain users to use on-chain storage space efficiently and responsibly, and keeps the cost low as well.
  • Design authentication data structures that can power the collaboration of blockchain data shards or subnets in a trustless manner.
  • Optimize the data flow inside of Aptos nodes to maximize the transaction throughput and minimize the transaction finality latency.
  • Optimize the data architecture inside of Aptos nodes to leverage multiple data engines for different purposes.

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years of experience as a hands-on software engineer
  • Experience with key-value store and/or relational databases, file systems, caches.

About the Role 

Doodles is looking for a talented finance executive to build, manage and lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). As Head of Strategic Finance, you’ll be playing a crucial role in owning the company’s financial model, budgets and plans as well as evaluating new business initiatives and potential investments, including partnership deals. The day-to-day role includes partnership across Doodles functions and business lines to build business cases, develop capital allocation frameworks, and drive financial results. 

The successful candidate is a highly driven detail-oriented leader who will play a key role in the design of key financial processes at Doodles. You flip easily between precision and managing details versus strategic and big-picture planning, and knowing what is needed when. As head of Finance & Operations, you will work closely with the senior leadership team and the Board of Directors and will report directly to the CEO. 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as partners, advisors, outside counsel and regulatory governing bodies.

  • Manage strategic planning including financial modeling, P&L forecasting, target setting, and prioritization of strategic initiatives. 

  • Develop sophisticated financial models, track, and analyze financial KPIs, monitor investment efficiency, guide investment decisions, and assess business risks.

  • Continuously improve operational efficiencies by building scalable processes

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal parties and members of the organization; as well as understand the relationships and needs of external parties.
