Who We’re Looking For

We are hiring a Developer Efficiency Engineer to join our Engineering team. We have tons to do, building the future of web3, and we need help increasing our iteration speed. You’ll be part of a game development team working to ship Otherside to players around the world.

The Job

  • Using in depth knowledge of build systems to design, implement, and maintain Yuga Labs’ CI/CD systems and pipelines
  • Collaborate with product and discipline leads to identify focus areas, and handoff points, and provide the best solution for the development phase
  • Implement automation and validation tooling to ensure the quality of our software

Your Skills

  • Experience with CI/CD frameworks such as Jenkins, Horde or TeamCity
  • Experience with Unreal Engine’s build system
  • Strong knowledge of a source control system (e.g., Perforce, Git)
  • Comfortable with C#, C++ and Game Programming
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-$200,000 in addition to equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range listed encompasses several levels. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and market demand. Overview

As the Senior Sales Officer / Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of BitMEX. You will be responsible for creating and executing the sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and working with a high-performing sales team. This role demands a deep understanding of the crypto derivatives trading market and products, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets in fast moving environments.

As Senior Sales Officer / Head of Sales it will be your responsibility to acquire new traders for our platform directly as well as through partners and affiliates. The ultimate goal is to increase trading volume and revenue of the platform, thus creating a superior experience for existing and prospective traders. You will identify new business opportunities, maintain and broaden existing business relationships with our network of partners, while providing competitive market analysis. As such, you will act as an ambassador of our brand and platform while being a trader yourself.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new prospective clients with the goal of getting them onboarded and trading
  • Taking charge of delivering on the sales strategy in a hands-on execution attitude to visibly drive revenue growth and market share. 
  • Pro-actively develop and refine the strategy based on market know-how and observations made from executing on the point above.
  • Work closely with the sales team to follow the strategy consistently.
  • Break-down, communicate, and monitor sales targets, providing guidance and support yourself and the sales team to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
  • Know the BitMEX trading platform and current and future product and service offerings, and how these will affect our client base.
  • Be actively involved in networking to identify and cultivate trader pools. 
  • Engage with key traders and partners to build and nurture strong relationships. Provide direct support, communication, and problem-solving for high-value clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Continuously work with the sales team to improve the sales process, participating in sales calls and meetings, and providing hands-on guidance. Identify bottlenecks and challenges and implement solutions.
  • Provide in-depth market know-how and analysis, staying on top of trends and competitor activities. Use this knowledge to adjust the sales strategy and guide the team in real-time.
  • Ensure a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency trading platform within the sales team as well as the broader company by actively participating in product training and regularly sharing hands-on knowledge and expertise.
  • Work closely with the Products team to provide real-time feedback from the sales team and clients, contributing to the development of new products and features. 

Qualifications

  • Experience engaging with clients and strong know-how of the Crypto industry
  • In-depth understanding of the cryptocurrency market, blockchain technology, and related financial products
  • Proven experience in cryptocurrency trading or fintech sales, with a minimum of 4 years in a responsible role
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • A trader yourself with a solid track record of personal trading in the crypto derivatives market, demonstrating a deep understanding of trading strategies and market dynamics
  • Strong understanding of digital currencies and passionate about the space
  • A deep passion for the cryptocurrency industry and a commitment to staying informed about its developments.

Overview

We are looking for a Lead Detection and Response Engineer to join us in the Security Response Team here at BitMEX. If you have a keen eye for detail and believe that successful Security Response activities begin with proactive hunting and competent engineering, we want to talk to you.

Occasional weekend on-calls are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification and analysis of security incidents, including suspicious activities, breaches, and vulnerabilities. Implement advanced detection techniques to identify threats promptly.
  • Responsible for threat detection, monitoring and implementation of high fidelity security alerts
  • Expected to lead Incident Response activities to resolve security incidents and minimize risk for the organization
  • Produce detailed records of incidents, response actions, and post-incident analysis for compliance and improvement purposes.
  • Support a global, multi-timezone, on-call rotation for incident triage & response
  • Identify security gaps and implement constant improvements to our security stack
  • Communicate effectively with lines of business, management and clients to address complex information security issues

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience working in a Security Operations role and experience handling security incidents from triage to remediation
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Security field
  • Experience with dealing with a SIEM tool such as Splunk or ELK
  • Working knowledge of cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services
  • Experience in supporting and configuring Endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools
  • Strong knowledge of Security frameworks such as Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK and how they can be used to understand and defend against cyber attacks.
  • Understanding of emerging adversary tactics, techniques and procedures
  • Knowledge of malware analysis & reverse engineering

The Opportunity

    • Work on client’s KYC documents, using KYC applications and email tickets
    • Review and verify the KYC documents submitted by the clients, to ensure documents are authentic and valid
    • Validate the Proof of Residence submitted by the Clients
    • Flag suspicious documents and escalate to the relevant team
    • Respond to the Client’s enquiries regarding their applications or to upgrade to a higher tier
    • Update Client’s information upon request
    • Comply to Kraken’s Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures
    • Ensure that work is compliant to Kraken’s Quality and Risk guidelines
    • Provide 6 star experience to the Clients in every interaction
    • Ensure that process guidelines are followed in verifying the client
    • Work with the team to meet the business objectives
    • Leverage feedback for continuous improvement to the client onboarding process

Skills you should HODL

    • Minimum of 2 years experience in client service or business support role in a global shared services setting
    • Strong cryptocurrency knowledge and passion
    • Deep understanding of client satisfaction, dissatisfaction and NPS metrics
    • Intellectually agile; able to grasp new concepts, ideas and changes to processes
    • Ability to explain resolution and step by step processes to clients or internal co-workers when necessary
    • Strong attention to workflow processes and details
